"Why do you like ZM?"

I'm just curious as to what it is about all the Zombie/Mutant modes which people seem to love.

I've seen multiple people on the forums who have a large interest for these modes and I'd just like to know whats going on in there

I, personally, find the Zombie/Mutant modes quite boring and tedious and the only reason I play them is for the daily mission or to hope and try to get some of the permanent items.

Anything that you guys do to make these modes more enjoyable for you?

I shall gladly answer your question, I myself I love to play Zombie Mode even to the point where I created a whole clan built on players who enough that same love. Zombie mode is not just any mode for us. It's a lifestyle. We play it daily, we play it over and over we do it for that love.

Why we do it? I feel like each player would answer that differently but I do it to become skilled on each map. I want to become a master to the point where no one will be seen better then me! Each zombie mode I complete I become a bit stronger. My goal has always been to be the best and I have never let anything slow me down! ~ ZM is love, ZM is life!

I enjoy headshoting zombies in ZM, now with anti zombie weapons, I find it is more and more interesting and I am trying to challenge myself, such as play a ZM map alone and with less time and life used possible. For example, I just finished solo unearth and Valkyrie Lab Normal with only melee weapon - Xuan Yuan Sword. (only for snipers and some annoying ghosts, I use gun).

PVE in CF is a enjoyable mode among many FPS games I played.

I've come to realize that it was strictly for events/ribbons. Otherwise I only play it if I'm absolutely bored or see a game at wave 25+.

I enjoy playing co-op games in general. ZM is co-op against AI opponents, something that i like... the rewards are not bad either.
Talking seriously, zm in crossfire became very unbalanced over time because of all those damage reduction items, rings, bonuses from vips such as extra life or hp recovery, and special weapons so I get why you are bored... there is almost no challenge or fear of failure. This is easy compared to some real co-op zm games like killing floor where teamwork matters and fight for survival is a thing.

on the other side , ZM is love ,as for me I go with my clan full set with Buster/Tesla guns , log on TS and the fun start LOL, you don't have to be sharp and Adrenalin junkie to be good at it , ZM is relaxing and fun , yes it gets boring after awhile but depends on the company you go with .

Back in the time when ZM just was being released here, it was a very interesting and challenging mode to enjoy. I guess that was what kept me playing the mode even now. Then, as the time has been passing, I get more and more used to it, till the point that I only logged in just to play ZM. I also met good friends thanks to it. And with all these lately plusses (including ZM2 and ZM3 releases) I can say I still enjoy this fantastic mode.

There is almost no fear of failure except when you get a client error every time in round 10.

Well, mostly, I tend to play ZM because people in my Clan/Friends are playing ZM.

And it'd be quite rude to decline and not join when I don't have anything particularly better to do.

For me i would play ZM just for being boring and don't need to focus or stressed so i can listening to music while i play

I prefer to play ZM (actually I love any zm) and be relaxed, listen music, have fun with clan mates,and try to win perma rewards.. than playing in S&D for example and be nervous from the first round XD

When I get angry because of team mates acting like headless chickens, or because I got kicked with a good score, stuff like that, I like to just mindlessly kill zombies with music playing. It's a nice way to relax for me.

I like zm cause you cant get kicked and you dont have to rage about hackers.
Hmx is interesting cause you cant get kicked But at this Moment the Free Mutation Spike from mp destroy The fun in this mode.

Well, Mutation Mode is like a game of tag so that explains the fun in that
but there's also the nice maps and options like different mutants/items u can use which brings in a little variety.

But the best thing about mutation mode is parcouring around with non-suspecting mutants xD it can be hilarious when they miss u over and over again. (until you get kicked... luckily that got removed )


As for Zombie Mode,

I like any kind of co-op game where zombies or anything else is involved.
It's also the only mode out there where the players have to band together and fight against non-players (or AI).

One of the best things i like about the mode are the Special Anti-Zombie Guns like the M240B-Tesla, AA12-Buster/Infection or P90-Wildshot. They make you feel so overpowered in this mode

And the rewards are pretty sweet too
when i start a zombie mode game, my aim will ussually be to get some good items.

When ZM first came out it was fun because it was hard. I mean back then I was low-key still a noob and the best gun for the mode was the Gatling lmao. Back then you'd get all your friends, get your best guns and try and hide under the stairs from the zombies until you run out of ammo and it was a blast. ZM now is just easy to the point where it's just a task to complete for daily missions. If you've got 1 let alone all the ZM VIP weapons you'll roll through any map easily, plus you've got new ZM special weapons that help even more.
