ZM Tickets

I find the whole slaughter ticket system confusing. I have never had much luck with them but that may be because i am using them incorrectly.

So can someone please explain the most optimal way to use these tickets to get permanent items?

Do you not kill any zombies and just wait until the boss arrives, then kill that? Do you wait for a particular round that spawns more difficult enemies than normal?

Is there a method to the madness that is slaughter tickets? or is it just simple RNG like the BM.

  • Some might give pointers but evidently it's random like BM. Same I haven't had much luck there.
  • The more difficult the monster, the better your chance of a rare drop (I recommend joining ZM3, Nightmare mode). The more slaughter tickets you hold, also the better chance of a rare drop. That's the only 'official' information (it is in the CF client).

Other theories (no way to prove):
    - Headshots increase win rate.
    - Multiple players in the room with slaughter tickets increase win rate.

Aside from that, it really is just luck, similar to BM. Some have spent 100+ slaughter tickets and gotten nothing and some have won a perm item under 10 slaughter tickets.
  • It's already been said, but you can also check this anyway:

I didn't try S. Tickets in ZM3 yet, but they should work as well as with other ZM maps (ZM1 and ZM2).
And well, as already stated above, it's all luck based in the end, so all you could do with certainty is increasing your chances of winning something by following the tips and instructions that the game itself recommend (like buying more tickets to increase your chances, etc).
