CFS / CFGI Yearly Plan
Our region will likely hold a small qualifier for the CFGI event, though they may simply choose to invite either Teamw0w or ANIXIA given those two teams went to China last year (ANIXIA placed higher at the international competition, but got 2nd place in the national qualifying event).
Can't wait!

CFGI has historically always chosen the CFS representative because it makes the most sense. It could have been argued last year that Carbon was worse than teamw0w, however Carbon still went to the event.
How can they choose to invite ANIXIA when its not even the same team? There isn't a single roster with more than 2/5 of the roster who went to WCA last I cehcked.
Also while its true ANIXIA was the only team to win a match internationally, it was against the lowest performing team of the event. Had Teamw0w played a team of that skill level at CFS, there is no doubt in my mind they would have also won. So it seems kind of silly to use that constantly as some sort of boost to the lackluster performance all of NA displayed in 2016 internationally.
Honestly there shouldnt be an argument about who is the best NA right now, when clearly we have so many issues placing at internationals, to where we had 3 separate teams (Arguably with some of the best players to date for NA on those teams) go to internationals, and not a single team made a second stage, or finished with a positive record. If you want to sit here and argue about his is best right now be my guest, however it would make more sense to me to see these top teams work together and train together not only to provide a more competitive season globally, but ensure NA has a better chance in 2017.
Nobody in NA is entitled to be invited anywhere, and our performance has proven that if anything we are going into events over confident and ill prepared.
Its time for NA to train up a Tier 1 Global team, instead of constantly throwing insults at each other about who is better. NA is currently statistically one of the weakest regions in the past year of competition. If we want to build a team that can win globally, we need to start looking to our top players to set aside their egos, and build teams worthy of contesting titles globally, rather than just replacing and shifting rosters every 3 months. -

This is accurate. I have no particular interest in whether they select ANIXIA or Teamw0w, as I am no longer a member of ANIXIA. But, I could see either team being selected. Also while its true ANIXIA was the only team to win a match internationally, it was against the lowest performing team of the event.
Not that it matters, but the team we beat took more rounds from the Chinese than any other team in the event; they were far from the worst performing. We got blown up by the Chinese, though, but I'm not sure where you're selecting your information from.
I don't think you really got the point of my post, or how "trading insults" came to be. We and Teamw0w are very cordial, and generally always have been. ???michealdrkkt wrote: »Not to be exceptionally rude, but you were eliminated after losing 10-2 and 10-0
Couldn't hear you from last place -
