150+ Pingers Can't Play in NA - Here's a Little Proof

All of this happened in different games with different people, all on the same day. People with 150+ ping lag in place after about 10 seconds of joining the match and are booted out. This is only a fraction of all of the lagging out encounters I've had.

  • I think it has to do with the state of the servers and not the lag you have in the NA servers.
For example: Whenever I play in the NA servers my ping is around 180-190 but I never get a dc,while I've seen people with 130 ping get dc's all the time.
Also, many years ago, when there weren't any UK servers, every non-American player had a ping of 130-200 but we didn't get that many errors.
So, even though I think it's pointless to play in the NA servers when the UK servers are functioning properly(for a non-NA player), I think the errors are random and not ping based(which of course is based on my personal experience).

Maybe, but this has been going on since about October, because I host all of my rooms and I started to have games that just gave me a ton of wins. People who joined were usually 150 pingers and wouldnt get 10 seconds into the match before disconnecting. No one has said anything about it, and unless you're consistently host you dont really notice it. I myself have a good 40 ping, but im showing this to help me get games started without it ending after 10 seconds and im helping my fellow 150+ pingers too, who probably thinks it happens to everyone else.

^ It's true and I guess mostly players from you-know-where are affected by it. My ping is 140 in NA servers and I don't have such issues.

Try "playing" some MM/HM daily missions in NA4 and you'll see for yourself.
  • I'm a 150+ pinger in NA and I can play there most of the times. :)
What you see in those screenshots happens in UK too, with people with 60-100 pings.
    I don't think its ping-related issue.
  • Bump....Posted a thread like this a few days ago and people asked for proof, now no one is commenting.
  • I see screen shots of people standing around lol. No reference to their pings or a video clip of them lagging out. We had a fv guy stalking Moe the other day and he kept on disconnecting. I didn't care enough to watch their latency but most of the time when you watch it you will see it spike before they leave. The status just isn't always updated fast enough to show their massive spikes.
  • This is still a thing.

Players with nicknames like Ahmed, Mido, pOp, anavib555555, 2918313, asuihdiwad, LKOJKOJKL, q___l__l basically always get kicked/moved to lobby when they first join the room.
One of them was given a gift to understand English and told me that he doesn't get any errors, he just gets moved to lobby.

From my perspective, they move for ~4 seconds(not always), and then move in the same spot while being invincible for ~8 seconds. After that, they become vulnerable for ~2 seconds and then [MidoPop has left] appears in game chat.

If I recall correctly, wasnt most of the forum asking for ping restricted servers and the "150" value was mentioned alot? Inb4 this all is just random testing being done for that purpose before such a server is actually defined. (note: by random i do mean random, maybe you have 200 ping and you get booted out 4/5 games,i dont know, i never had this issue at all since the last patch.)

I could potentially see it being the testing...but from what i've noticed in the past...it often seems their testing phase is the 2 weeks-1 month after it's already been implemented into the game or the event has gone live. lol But also if it WAS just testing...then all people with high pings would get knocked out of those servers every time. Since some people are managing even with high ping it leads me to assume it's an issue with the route that group of people's internet has to take to reach the CF servers and that somewhere along the way one of the 'nodes' is having severe issues for some reason or another. So it's likely nothing Z8 can do about it as it's probably not their servers that are the issues but rather one of the connection pathway servers. I'd also advise those who are having this issue to contact their ISPs and explain their problem to them as well.

    This^^
Even players with lower pings like 60 & 70 happens to them also.

Yea thos is exactly what Im talking about. Theyll join, move up like a foot then lag in place for a couple seconds invincinble, then teleport a couple feet backwards and still lag in place until finally they are no longer invincible, get killed, and lag out the room.

And you should somehow contact that friend again and get him to explain it some more. Maybe video proof if possible? Im just so sick of hosting these matches and thinking it'll be a great game only to have it end 10 seconds later (unless someone joins the other side in time, and even then the next person might just lag out too).

Idk about it being testing, this lag out thing has been going on since October I believe (never had this problem in the summer) and it happens to far too many people for ot to just be testing. Im sure Z8 would have been careful for that as much of NA is comprised of such players with 150+ ping.

Just host a team death match arena for example, and watch how many people join and leave.

Btw, I tested this in UK. Same situation. Entire match was [has joined] ....[has left] until about the 16th round out of 25, when everyone finally were able to play. It does seem that ppl in the UK are more adjustedto it though, they find tricks around it, like constantly rejoining after lagging out. Eventually it lets them play.

Aaaahhh, I need video proof of this
  • More finer thing's will happen to the server's. That region might get the hint eventually :)

This is most likely it. From someone experiencing the issue.

I'm not alone with this issue (mostly Egyptian players has this issue as well)
but also some players doesn't have it
now i'm not pointing that Z8 is trying to restrict Egyptians from the game cuz that won't make any sense. I only wonder if I will ever play normally again?

Very important PS: Before April update I had the same problem on NA SERVERS ONLY; Now after April update I still have the problem on BOTH UK & NA SERVERS

I doubt it that there is any point of someone recording other side of the story; people getting disconnected out of the room. Whoever wants to see it, he can create a room and watch people DC.
  • Bump. Bro that is a great video, the perfect proof I needed.

Fix this please. Its so funnny because when I made a thread about this issue before, everyone complained abd laughed at me about no proof. Now there is proof from multiple sources, yet no authority is here to have a say on the matter.
  • I got this error along with half the people in the room on Friday during GM live stream, and my ping is 18.
  • The best thing is when u kill them, u might feel guilty, but u get KiLLS :)
  • AubyGreat wrote: »

NO, this doesn't need fixing. It's finally time to clean the trash out of this game. These people needed to learn a lesson, and this is the best way to teach them some manners.
  • I wonder why people are keeping joining, lagging, leaving, now from Tomahawk's video I think i have a better view of this issue from a new perspective. As most people stated, this happens mostly on players from Egypt which is a point common, I think this is related to the internet provider in Egypt?
BTW I don't think Z8 Games have any plan to restrict Egyptians, since even though they keep getting this kind of error but they can get access to the server, that's what make me believe this is a issue related to internet provider in Egypt. (Probably)
  • I remember that few years ago 2 egys tried to cut underwater cable which connects egypt with europe but they were caught and they did minor damage. Maybe someone from egypt had a smart idea similar to this one and cut some internet cables? hh

i tried another version and it worked fine without errors and before April's update there weren't problems, so the internet provider in Egypt not the main reason.
