can not play when join in any room

Hi CF support
I downloaded this game to my new pc, and everything fine until join in the room to play, it was auto quit out and send message error

I get this when I Alt + Tab sometimes. If the game is loading, you shouldn't click any buttons. Wait for it to load.

The solution is to:
1. Check for an updated version of your video card driver (not your case since all XP drivers are very old)
2. Go to My Documents \ CrossFire \ - there delete all files with .dat extension - will reset all your game preferences to default

Now game should work - but don't change gamma settings - leave at default 50% (usually gamma settings trigger this error)

P.S.
I get this error while playing sheep mode - just at the end of the game , after score display ... could be also trigger by sheep mode in some cases.

I get it sometimes while playing sheep mode as especially when I'm holding the red sheep in All weapons rooms.
If they don't work, try to re-install it. Maybe there's a missing file as you get this a lot, not just sometimes. Also, I think you should turn off your Antivirus or Firewall while installing in case they block some files from getting downloaded by mistake.
