How to save the Western Market

The CF Western Market has been in crysis the last years and it has become pretty obvious. North American playerbase is almost dead. The situation isn't that better in Crossfire Europe, where people barely full 2 channels.

This is how to save the playerbase of the Western Market regions:

- Move Crossfire Europe players here and open registrations for Europe.
- Move Egyptian players to Crossfire Europe client and move its servers from Netherlands to Egypt. Rename it to CF Egypt.

How this will benefit the game, playerbase and Smilegate:

- No more laggers in CF NA/UK -->old players will return, healthy gameplay will attract new players, which leads to more income for Smilegate.
- Egyptians will have their own seperate version with low latency and a happy playerbase which will make more people from there buy more ZP.
- Less costs for European region, as CF Europe servers in Netherlands will be closed and only the current ones hosted by CF NA/UK in Germany will remain.
- More players from EU region. Europeans have been complaining how bad quality CF EU has in terms of support and game servers. CF NA/UK as a client is far better and more enjoyable than the awful CF EU client and more people will play it for sure. Don't forget that people from EU are wealthier, which will lead in more profit of course.

If you want to save the western market, the only option is the merging of North American playerbase with the European playerbase in one single CF client and sending away the foreigners.

Maybe the NA player base is just losing interest in the game? Ever since VIPs been released there's been a decline in old NA players playing. Game took a change in their philosophy and as a result their profits rose but old player base dropped. Hopefully something changes and the NA region starts growing soon. Its a shame to see NA 1 barely full on a friday night.

Honestly i'd disagree with this. VIPs definitely changed the way the game is played but "traditional" players didn't quit just because of VIPs. If anything i'd say the death of the NA servers was due to poor communication with the GM's. They didn't listen to or interact with the players for YEARs + an influx of hackers hit people hard. No one wanted to log anymore. Once people started quitting suddenly the players that did stay active had less friends making them want to play. I will say the GMs have gotten better as well as the hacker problem, but unfortunately there are still many glaring issues with CF (servers, glitches, BM win rate).

OT: I think a merger with EU would be great, but it would be unfortunate for the UK players if they had to move to CF-Egypt and if they kept servers here then it would be odd to have a CF NA/UK/EU lol.

i would love to see a merge between them, but then the question. people who only played CF EU, what do you do with there ranks and stuff? wouldn't be fair if they lost it all. myself i would just suggest a transfer over IF possible. but i think that'[s one of the reasons it hasn't happend yet
