Event in Egypt

  • Now it got me wondering why they didn't do an Event like they did with PAX or Raiders way before. Why did they have to wait for the NA servers to completely die to do it? Don't get me wrong, the Raiders had a ton of people everywhere, but you still see little amount of low pingers in NA. They should be doing small events in the right regions first, if doesn't work out that well move on to others where there are a lot of people from.

NA dies and dies, everyday I see less people on the NA server. Something needs to be done ASAP. Playing with laggers becomes frustrating and makes people move on to other games where they don't encounter laggers like they do in CFNA. Yet the game gets advertised on the region from where all those laggers come from.

Exactly. They are paying more attention to foreigners than players from North America
  • Well I am not talking about the ribbon , Iam just saying that alot of Egyptians want to be in such events but it's not that easy tho .

Moe already proved that there was an Event for Egyptians, now let others have events and enjoy too.

it wasn't a event it was some kind of cards we could buy from some placed in Egypt and actually I couldn't get my hand on any of them as I should take like 4 hours travel to get it .
What I mean is a event which gather Egyptian players and other players from US or Canada that's all what I meant

If you mean the english speaking egyptians who can also behave nice, without the part of the population which swears us to death in their own language and kicks us becaue they cant kill, then sure why not.

No these cards were not for sale as far as I know. These were used as participation rewards. There wers also tournaments hosted at popular net cafes and similar prizes were given.
  • WOW Iam glad that this thread is still alive :), thank you guys for your positive and reasonable attitude, In Egypt , CF comes first before any other games , when ever you enter a cyber cafe you'll find at least half of the kiddos playing CW or w.e, so Imagine hosting such event here , it will be big and when I say big in Egyptian I mean BIG :) ,So I hope team would consider it , thank you

So true, although I'm a UK player myself, everytime I change servers I take a glimpse at the NA servers, and at the max the bar is 3/4 full, hardly ever full way.

Indeed they were NOT meant to be sold, but some people did sell these codes in real virtual black market. :3
The majority of these cards/codes were given for free, but other codes were sold in specific areas by the end of the event. (for low prices tho, so they don't get reported :3)

Also, I haven't heard anything about these tournaments you're mentioning. The only event that I heard about and was popular enough is that one with the codes.
However, I really Hope they give us a chance to put our hands on that ribbon.

They were announced on the Crossfire Arabia fb page, previously known as Crossfire MENA > https://www.facebook.com/crossfirearabia/
