Unfortunately you cannot open Cfr files other than opening them in Crossfire replay Client "Storage ". Best thing to do is Open them and have Recording software whilst you replay the file. -

I think he means the "delete" button. -

Your answer is given by the above Quote. That Delete button will remove your bottom bar to give you a more of realistic recording without that playback buttons on the bottom. So yeah use Bandi etc or some Screen recorder and then press Delete and start recording your replays.
