Do certain weapons work better with certain characters?

OK it's probably a stupid question, but for example, I've heard that the AK-47 work best with the OMOH character, and M4 works best for SWAT and so on. Is there any truth to this? Or is there no difference whatsoever in which character uses it? thanks

i would assume u just started playing this game right?
and no, its just the color combo, AK, dragunov, and uzi look best with OMOH. M4, FAMAS, SG552, mp5, AWM, deagle look best with SWAT, etc.

well, actually, all the weapons that fits with SWAT will mostly fit with a SAS

DEagle with SWAT? i find that 1911 fits well

sometimes, i find this funny to see a SWAT guy holding an AK-47 :P

i dont get why BL swat doesnt look like GR swat, id use swat if they did, dont like the bl swat
