Hit Registration Issue
Hello
The biggest issue in Crossfire currently is the hit registration, which if you hit somebody it doesn't register or show that you dealt any damage to the enemy. What made it worse is the unstable pings in the UK servers as there is too much difference between each player.
It's frustrating to deal with this issue as if you hit the enemy and it doesn't tell you that you dealt any damage.
But I noticed that the hit registration is much better if you get a head shot even if the enemy is lagging.
Another issue that there is peaking advantage in the game, as you hide behind a wall before the enemy hits you. But suddenly you die because apparently you were on his screen when he killed you! I think this happens because of the packet lose on the servers as it's not stable as I mentioned before. Even low ping players get so much packet lose.
I have been playing Crossfire since 2012 and I love this game. So please consider fixing this problem.
Thank you

Peekers advantage is something that cannot be rectified (Maybe when technology in the future lets everyone have 1ms ping all over the world). It takes time for the data to be sent from player 1 (Movement) to the server, and from the server to player 2 (Viewing the movement). The game cannot show where other players are instantaneously because the information takes time (with 2 people at 100 ping in an ideal scenario you would receive the information that you died 200ms after being shot, but realistically it would be slightly longer, say 210ms) . It cannot be fixed realistically, without being on LAN. Even then it would still happen, but to a much lesser extent.
The hit detection recently I have had major issues with. I've been hitting ~92 in roughly 7 shots. I have slowed down footage frame by frame, and watched as the shots hit them. Something is wrong there and I agree it needs to be fixed. Yes, headshots seem to be hitting better, although I have some footage of me hitting someone in the head 3 times before it registers, but that could just be due to them lagging. -
Thanks for your time master_mann
Peakers advantage could be less if they work on it to be honest. But that's not my major problem.
And about the hit registration, as you said I have been hitting enemies over 7 shots and it's frustrating. Yesterday I hit the enemy with a headshot and he killed me like it was nothing!
This issue need to be fixed. But sadly the Crossfire developers are not listening to the community. As I contacted them before and didn't get the proper response for it.
