Yes, 7 & 8 are fine, but XP is pretty bad.

i'm using windows 7 and i got same error more than 4 times in sheep mode only

Its not windows-related then. I don't know whats causing this. Sorry.

Well if sometime you will get auto-banned because of win XP don't bother to submit a ticket - they won't unban your account

There was an issue long time ago with windows XP and all XP users get banned by Xtrap - they solve the issue BUT only unban the accounts with honorable ribbon -

and WARN players for the future if will get ban because of the old system XP they won't unban anymore any accounts - because XP is outdated system unsupported anymore by Microsoft already
(therefore is vulnerable to internet attacks, game exploits ..etc)

NOW regarding this error is usually related to another error (alt tab and go back on game you will see another message: ''Can't find legacyshader.fxo'')

The solution is to:
1. Check for an updated version of your video card driver (not your case since all XP drivers are very old)
2. Go to My Documents \ CrossFire \ - there delete all files with .dat extension - will reset all your game preferences to default

Now game should work - but don't change gamma settings - leave at default 50% (usually gamma settings trigger this error)

P.S.
I get this error while playing ship mode - just at the end of the game , after score display ... could be also trigger by shipmode in some cases.

i live in Ukraine.... i have win Xp because my computer has 2 Gig RAM.... i download this windows in russian pirate sites.... No problems with the game .... only on the Russian server lag ... This error must be fixed

They have over worked their Sheep's, the poor things running after you and using them as a weapon. Give them a break and they won't fail on you.

I get this error send report sometimes, but its happened to me randomly in any mode or when game ends or when i want to go off, i dont know whats going on with this bug, and im using win10
