Also how do you assign Regimental / Battalion commanders in the clan? , You can only assign company commander and the other commanders are blurred out, is there a specific reason? [/size]

Trade Mark symbol should be Alt + 0153. Simply just hold Alt and press 0153. But its not working in Crossfire. For me at least. You can try typing it anywhere on your PC, even here™.
Not sure how he did it. Maybe it was available at that time or its just available through Clan Name Change item only.
Try to ask the leader of that clan or the support maybe ?

I suppose all of you started CF after we got the in game clan system. It was available when the clan system was in clqn section of the Z8 site and you could add many different symbols.

Its button not buttom.
Yes, its the right code. But you can't type it in game.

Support had replied me the other day about it (yeah,basically it's the same explanation as the new policy for clan name changes):
