CF North America ~ Zyko Exclusive Interview!
Hey guys! Here is a short interview with Zyko, a well known CrossFire player both in-game and on the forums.
Q: Hey Zyko! Can you introduce yourself?
Hey, my name is Rodrigo, I'm currently living in Canada, but was born in Azores, Portugal. I've been playing CrossFire for around 5 - 6 years, I used to play CFEU then moved to CFNA. I finished high school last year and I am currently a "babysitter," I take care of my little brother.
Q: So Zyko, you recently attended a local CrossFire LAN in Canada, can you explain a little about it?
As you know, I am always around the Forums, so I saw the post and decided to show up since I always wanted to meet the GMs in real life. It took me a while to get there because I used TTC buses and Street Cars.
Q: How did you find the LAN overall? Did you win any prizes?
It was my first time to attend a LAN, and it a really good experience. I had a lot of fun playing on the tournaments. The place was busy, there was a lot of people. Everyone got a paper with a number for the Raffles, and I was one of the winners for the VIP weapons, I got the Barrett-Obsidian Beast.
Q: For the people who haven't attended a CF LAN yet, what would you like to tell them based on your experience?
It's really fun, you'll meet people that you've been playing with for a long time and it's always good to make new friends. You get a chance to win some really nice prizes, you also get to meet the GMs and MODs in real life.
Q: If there was another local LAN, where would you like to see it?
I think it would be nice to have on in UK since there are a lot of players from the UK. But if it was here in Canada again, I'm not sure, I don't know many places. For me in the same place would be fine since there is a lot of chairs around to chill and you can get food there too.
Q: So, you been a long CrossFire member, what changes would you like to see happen in the future?
I'd like to see more maps instead of modes. More Maps for MM, GM, TD and SnD. I'd like to see some new weapons too, instead of just new skins.
Q: Got any tips or messages for the CF Community?
Don't rage like I do, it does no good. If you get frustrated with the game just playing something else for a while instead of going to the forum and get yourself banned. I'd also like to suggest to be around the forums a lot, there are some nice members that are kind enough to do ZP Giveaways.

Hey, my name is Paul, I'm currently living in Canada but I was born on point two of Ilios, in overwatch. I've been playing Crossfire for around 7 years, in CFNA. Crossfire is my life, I basically live in ghostmode, so don't expect much from me past videogames.
Q: So Pizza, you recently attended a local CrossFire LAN in Canada, can you explain a little about it?
I don't go to LANs, i'm an antisocial schtup and I couldn't bear to face the GM's after all the troll posts I made on the forums. Kanadian would give me a spanking and i'm scared it'll have adverse effects on me.
Q: How did you find the LAN overall? Did you win any prizes?
Again, no LANs for me, I prefer to sit behind my keyboard. My prizes usually consist of infractions, which just shows me how much the MODs and GMs love me. 10/10 would meme again.
Q: For the people who haven't attended a CF LAN yet, what would you like to tell them based on your experience?
Everyone there's nerdy, don't worry you'll fit right in. If you've been a good boy or girl on the forums, then it'll be an awesome experience. Sounds like a meme of a time, and there's raffles, who doesn't like raffles. (Lets face it though, you never win anything anyways though :FeelsBadMan: .
Q: If there was another local LAN, where would you like to see it?
Anywhere West Coast, NA only. I have a strong dislike for the UK GhostMode player base, so an NA only GhostMode tournament in the West Coast would be right up my alley.
Q: So, you been a long CrossFire member, what changes would you like to see happen in the future?
More skins, I love skins. Anything zp related, I'll buy it. I also really like events, that way I can pretend like I completed it and didn't get my prize and then proceed to banter on the forums. I also want to see the community embrace meme's more. There's a severe lack of Pepe the frog here.
Q: Got any tips or messages for the CF Community?
Play more GhostMode please. It's the only mode I play and the player base is 2/10 there. Need more players. Oh and Aversion is still recruiting #motg2017 winners so we're clearly the best. (please join us we're dying and we desperately need members)
