Does death rally count?

No boss in Death Rally. So I believe it doesn't.

Only maps that has a Final boss counts. Unfortunately, Death rally, Final Arena, ZM2 and ZM3 doesn't count.

I heard some1 said, that gm did conform that death rally dont count i think weiwei?, still there was bug before they fix it, and my friend got the ribbon from death rally, i dont know if my friend still have the ribbon, or they remove it from him, still not sure about my friend, but i think now he have +1000 already and not death rally

imagine if u play hard arena, means u clear it 7 times? to get more clear to boss ribbon 1000? lol

At least some weeks ago it did, i'm not 100% sure if they still count.
My opinion is go for the maps that count.

This is probably an error that should have been fixed a time ago. Not sure if they (Final Arena, Death Rally) still count (when they shouldn't), but I'm in the same boat here telling you (the OP) that is better going for the ones that really counts.
