Wave mode cards

I have a card level +9 and I want to use it to enhance a card level +1.
If I try to do that is it guarranted that the upgrade will be succesful or it's like any other card level enhancement, which is based on luck?

  • From what I know, no combination of cards give you guaranteed success.

Using a Gold card for example can still yield failure, all you can do to try and dampen the blow is to use those Enhancement Kits which prevent your Cards from dropping a rank should the Enhancement fail.

EDIT - Ohh, do you mean you want to fuse a +9 Card with a +1 Card? If that's the case, I honestly don't know. I frankly have not been courageous enough to try and fuse any +9 card with a low level card in fear that I'll just lose it all.

The CrossFire Wiki states the following, however.
It's also possible to switch upgrades from one card to another, thus instantly giving players a powerful card. To do so, players must have another card of the same type with the upgraded card (As it'll disappear upon upgrade switch), plus the same amount of Stabilizer cards to do upgrade switch.

    Example:

Players have a +10 Medic card, and want to switch it to a Shock card.
So, players must have another Medic card in their inventory, and 10 Stablizer Cards.
Use the +10 Medic card to upgrade the Shock card. 10 Stabilizer cards will be used and the Shock card becomes +10, and the +10 Medic card will disappear.
  • I've never tried this. If you are willing to do so. Make sure you use a class stabilizer to avoid failure.
No guaranteed success as mentioned above.
  • I dont think thats possible. If it is leave a message there so i can do it too.
  • I'm fairly certain it's not possible. When I first started I was silly and made like 3 +4 Jokers. Couldn't use them to upgrade another card so I destroyed them.

-edit- Based on what Preset posted, you are able to transfer the +9 to the card by using 9 stabilizers.
  • Do you ask about something like this ?

If yes then look here (just in case that you didn't try).

That's exactly why I tried the forum first :P
It's because I read the cf wiki on the matter, but it seems that no one has tried it.
Perhaps I'll wait to see if anyone has tried it, and then I'll go from there.
If I decide to go through with it I'll keep you guys updated.

Yes that's exactly what I'm talking about, I went as far as you did, and then I stopped cause I didn't want to spend 9 stabilizer cards, nor did I have 9 stabilizer cards :P
  • What will happen is that material card's level will get transferred to the prospect card, without any fails. But you'll need to have stabilizers according to the level of the material card.

For example, I have a +9 Panther card and a +5 Blaster card. I have tried to upgrade my Blaster to higher levels but fail to do so. Similarly I have tried to upgrade my +9 Panther to +10 but fail there too. So what I do is I buy 9 Class Stabilizers, put the Blaster +5 in the Prospect space, put the Panther +9 in the Material space, check Stabilizers box, and click on Enhance. My Blaster +5 will become Blaster +9, and the Panther +9 will be destroyed. This is process is 100% guaranteed to work and will not fail whatsoever, though you'll be losing the material card (Panther +9), 9 Stabilizers, and +5 level of the prospect card.

Go ahead if you want to transfer and thank me later.

So it doesn't add up the levels of the cards? I hoped that it would be something like Blaster +1 <- Panther +9= Blaster +10.

I have been trying to upgrade the Joker card to level +10 and I've spent at least 15 stabilizer cards (thank god for the new coupon system which has stabilizer cards) but it always fails, and then I saw that particular post on the cf wiki(reposted above by Preset) but I missunderstood apparently.

Anyway, thank you for your help, if I ever manage to upgrade the joker card to level +10, I'll use that method to transfer the level to a golden blaster or something like that.
