honestly i agree with this. I dont see the need for an assist icon and sound. I can see when i get an assist in the score screen and it's not as important as a kill. meanwhile it can show up while you're shooting at someone and could potentially make you think you got them. or it can show up long after you've died as well. so it's more of a distraction than it's worth IMO.

I don't really have a problem with this. If anything, they should be added to more modes such as Ghost Mode and Escape Mode.
It's not so much a problem with it....just that the assist pop-up when the person you hurt eventually dies to someone else isn't really needed. And i'd rather keep things simple than to layer on un-needed things. Though it probs does increase the feels bad moments for some players who get KSed. lol
But I do very much agree the new system needs to be applied to all Team Based modes IMO. I honestly don't see why Ghost didn't get it when it's essentially a slightly modified S&D. Same with Bombing Mode. Escape has a little more detail to it since you have the Escape aspect but still shouldn't be that hard to add it in. So hopefully we'll see it further implemented in future patches. (soon at that) -

The problem is that if you happen to get an assist while you're shooting at someone then your instant assumption is that you killed them, when in reality that's not the case. If people like it then sure that's their choice, but we should at least be able to individually turn it off in our settings if it's negatively affecting us.

Z8 would have to talk to Tencent/ SmileGate about this, and CFCN still has it I don't think they will even talk to them about this.
You shouldn't really keep comparing this version of CrossFire to another version. Although each CrossFire version is the same game, the content within them varies. If Z8/SGW want to change something in our version that Tencent hasn't done in CFCN, then Z8/SGW will do so.
OP: As of right now, I do agree as what some people have posted above me have stated, that these assist kill icons are annoying and should have the option to be turned on or off. However, as of every other update we've had in the game, the players would just have to get used to it being there, in which, over time, it won't affect their gameplay as much as it might be doing right now. (Not everyone will get used too it, some may struggle to adapt to it still being there, but I do think the kill assist icon can be more useful then it is annoying) -
I have gotten use to it but I do get confused if I got the kill or not. If I were to give an opinion I would say remove the sound but then again if you are going to remove the sound you might as well remove the icon because it surely is distracting and the feature is kind of pointless. The only benefit I see is it appearing on the score board and that's about it.
EDIT: It definitely is useful knowing the target that managed to escape after being damaged is dead, so you don't waste time trying to find him\her.
