  • can anyone tell me if you can equip more than 1 ring?

The item shop doesn't stop you from buying more than 1 so I'm just curious.

Only 1 Ring can be active at a time, however you can own more than 1 ring with different effects. For example you could own a ring for the purpose of maximizing the Health back effect in ZM, while owning another thats used for increased GP.

  • Need a Better Explanation, But so far I have...

    The ring:

    1. Only one ring can be worn at a time, though you can purchase more than one ring.
    2. The ring costs ZP to purchase (~4,500 ZP).
    3. The ring has three RANDOM 'enchantments' in addition to the 'cross-hair' special.
    4. The cross-hair special cannot not be changed. (In my opinion: It doesn't really help PvP much, but I only use sub-machine guns. Snipers may benefit a lot more?? I found it useful in ZM, ZM2, and ZM3.)
    5. The three random 'enchantments' can be changed with GP. (ie. From Exp gain to GP gain. NOT the 11% from an enchantment to 13% of the same enchantment. See below.)
    6. It is possible to have the three of the same enchantments on one ring, in different quality or percentages, with the GP change purchase. (ie. I now have two Experience enchantments on my ring, one at 11%, and the other at 13%, my original third is ZM HP chance gain.)
    7. It is not known to me if having two or three of the same enchants on the one ring stack. (ie. I don't know if my 11% Exp and 13% Exp equals 24% Exp, or if the 13% over-rides the 11% Exp, leaving me with only 13% Exp.)
    8. The GP enchantment change is also 'random'. (ie. You pay the GP cost, and the pop-up provided me two random options to pick from, with random percentages) and can be GP purchase changed weekly.
    9. You can purchase an 'enchantment quality increase token' for 500 ZP.

This is where I stop, as I have not been able to use the enchantment token. It is not 'select-able' in the way other items are 'turned on', and I found no other way to 'apply' the enchant to the ring.

IF SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO USE THE ENCHANTMENT TOKEN, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

This forum, their facebook page, and the internet hasn't provided me the answer to the enchantment token use. If you know, please share the information.
  • Are my expectations too high or does it actually show if your shots/hits made actual damage or tanked?
This would be the main reason I would buy it for.

    As I take a bite out of my freshly hamburger before setting it down on my black leather wallet which is on the table, I begin to reply with one hand;

It turns your green cross-hair into a red bulls-eye as you aim or shoot. I haven't been able to discern exactly when it is going to happen.

PvP is (can be) really fast pace, and it really hasn't helped me much due to the speed of the kills you get or deaths you experience. Once your enemy is dead, there isn't a bulls-eye, and once you're dead... Well, you know...

If you are good at running and gunning (meaning you get kills while running) this may not be for you. It is some minor help when the enemy is at a great distance and you see the bulls-eye... But then hope they don't have a sniper rifle.

I don't use sniper rifles, so I can't say if it helps there. I imagine that it would be of better use for that game play style. But that's my imagination only. Maybe I'll try sniping and see, then post again?

In my opinion only: If the other enchantments don't matter to you, and you don't have the ZP to spare, I would pass on buying it. If you have ZP to throw away... This may well be the 'trash' you want. I had an extra 13,500 ZP I didn't know what to do with after buying the things I wanted. This ring fit into the available ZP I had left, as I don't buy 'temporary' items / gear.

If you (or anyone else is) partially color-blind to reds/greens... Well, don't buy it, as you wont see it a good portion of the time. << That's from experience, as I am partially color-blind to some shades of reds and greens. To me, it just disappears on the screen.

Must have taken you sometime to reply with one hand. Thanks for replying ^^
I'm ok with colors. I meant that, for example, for snipers only. If I shoot someone in air, the bullet
might do no damage at all or just does 81 on legs if I'm using AWM. So, if it did 81, will the cross-hair turn into red? If it didn't do any damage, does it stay green ?
For knives, if I slash someone, does my cross-hair turn into red if he doesn't tank my slash ? Cause then I would rush and slash him again. Although its risky. This happens to me all the time. I hit/shoot someone then think he has low hp left. So, I shoot him with my pistol or just do another slash, but it turns out that its the first damage I do to him -_-
Same thing for Rifles and others.
  • I'm making a couple of videos. TD gameplay and Wave gameplay, along with a Storage Room video to help answer some of the questions people have. The storage room is so people can see the ring is not visible, and that I don't know how to use the enchant token.

Is there a way to include video in these responses?

Yes, it should be like this

Thanks for making those videos. Liked and subscribed ^^
But, I still don't get it... Can you make a video with knives only? Maybe with some lagers if possible xD
My question is, will the cross-hair turn into red if a lager tanks(aka take no damage) your hit? So, you hit him, and that part of his body you hit just went backward. that's all. No damage.
    Thanks in advance.
    By the way,

    1. I will try to make a 'knife' video. It's a bit difficult to make any video showing the Dragon Ring results without a willing participant.

    2. To be honest though; it looks like it just goes red when you place your normal green marker on an enemy. I don't think it is 'hit dependent'.

    3. The 'pisces' button you point to is the GP button I used to change the "4% Zombie Damage Reflect" into "13% XP Increase". I only bought one token, and that token still says one use is left; so I really think those are two different functions.
--I'm going to use the 'pisces' button again for video purposes. It may just be that I don't understand -and therefore don't know how to use- the function. I may be using it 'correctly' and not know it.

    4. If by 'cannot be changed' you mean it cannot be turned off, then you can turn it off. When in your storage, you will see a 'settings' on the bottom right hand corner of the ring. You can opt out of the red cross-hair.

To use the enchantment token, go back to your ring (as Lieandra pictured above). Next to the 'settings' icon is an icon that looks like the 'refresh' button. It will randomly select a new attribute, and you then get the option of keeping your old one or using the new one.

    Thanks Rice.
    1. What I meant by not being able to change the cross-hair special is that it cannot be changed to something else, in the way that the other enchants can.

    2. I just made two more videos, one of which partially answers my questions regarding enchanting the ring, the other for GGamer's question regarding knife game play.

I'll expand a little more when I post the videos (my cell phone provides my laptop internet for me to play CF and upload youtube videos; so it takes a little while).

Oh, for some reason I read too quickly and thought you were asking the questions and someone else was answering (as in, I didn't realize you were one and the same). You should definitely summarize and post everything you found out here: http://forum.z8games.com/forumdisplay.php?38-CrossFire-Guides

Everything you posted so far would make for a great guide! Even better if it was all in one place in a thread of it's own :3
  • Dragon Ring Enchant / Knife Game Play

So. I finally used the enchant token to upgrade the Dragon Ring I have.
    A couple of notes:

    1. The 'refresh' button I previously used to change the '4% Zombie Damage Reflect' (4% ZDR) into the '13% Experience Increase (13% XPi) is the same 'refresh' button I used to upgrade the 11% XPi (Medium Quality) into 15% XPi (High Quality).
    2. That was my confusion. I owned the Quality Enchant Token when I did the Weekly GP Enchantment Change. As a result, I was looking for another way to change the quality, thinking the 'refresh' button was only for changing enchantment types.
    3. My remaining issue now is: I don't remember what the screen said for the Weekly GP Enchantment Change. (If someone knows, please post.) I'll have to wait until middle of this week to change my 13% XPi into something else (hopefully either GP increase, or another Zombie HP Recovery) in order to know.

    For GGamer,

    1. I tried to do both active attacking when in and out of range, as well as just following enemies and targeting different parts of their bodies.
    2. From time to time you will see a small red bulls-eye to the left of the enemy's name, sized as big as the name font, and appearing even when I'm dead. Also,
    3. From time to time you will see a mid-sized red bulls-eye, which shrinks / fades away, trailing enemies.
(I just thought: Latency may play a factor with the cross-hair special.)

In my opinion, it isn't really helpful in PvP, but -with regards to the cross-hairs only- others may opine differently.
Also, I tried to do a 'sniper video' while looking through the scope, but that proved difficult. It was really hard to pan around an enemy to see when the red bulls-eye pops up (if it pops up) before getting sniped myself.

In my opinion only: The three enchants (of personal choice) are much better than the cross-hair special. If you don't need -or want- any of the currently available enchants, I would suggest you not buy the ring. *Unless you have ZP to throw away.

PS: Yes > I really do suck that much knifing virtual Player Characters.
  • Can u guys do a guide about this ring? should i buy 1 ring already cause i have some free zp and im not sure if i have to buy it or not? perm ring? and what option i need to choose from the 1 ring only if i buy 1? thats why i need to see a guide about it, thanks again

Good job! Persona Blade is hard to aim I believe. You can buy a Broken Kukri from the FP Mall until you get a permanent one or you can do some ZM2 and get other cool knives.
I get it now. The red cross-hair won't show up if they tanked my hits. Because it doesn't show up when they are in Respawn time or they were killed by another player just before you hit them. So, I guess it would be the same for damage that don't register cause of lag.

You technically only have to spend ZP one time to purchase the ring. After that, you can change one of the attributes using GP only - but only once per week. It's worth the one time ZP in my opinion. But yeah, read Lieandra's guide for the full benefits :3
