The good samaritan ribbon is given personally by GMs. It has to be earned by a helpful community member. There is no specific schedule to give it out, sometimes a lot of forumers will earn it, some other times there won't be anyone worthy of the ribbon.
If you came here just for the ribbon - leave.

not about staying active, but when you are free for 5-10 minutes, why not pop in check and see if you can help some people. We need answers sometimes even the ones giving answers.
