Received In game reward/ribbon for reporting hackers

My opinions are for everyone who reported the hackers in game with proof. If the hackers get banned, crossfire need to give the player whose sent in the reported some type of in game rewards for example amors, ep, collected items etc ... would that motivate players to put more effort into hunting for hackers :). I know people willing to sit down do daily missions or game event to earn rewards. So they should get reward for contributing to help improve the game experiences. I don't play crossfire so often because hackers throw me off , this issue needed to address to keep more players. I spent times and money to invest in this game so I'm expecting to see crossfire admin /dev starting to appreciate the players for keeping them alive , this game alive

  • well this suggestion (should be in the suggestion section) is one i'm sure a lot of people agree with. But there's a bit of problem. If they announce they'll start awarding hack reports with 'rewards' then the hack report system will get flooded more than it likely already is and it won't be with reports of actual hackers. Im sure we've ALL been accused of hacking by some poor nabs who don't know how to play a mode like Ghost mode or Super Soldier S&D or they just can't imagine a score that's higher than a 1.2 KDR in a match. So it'd either need to be an unannounced reward system OR if it's announced and official then there needs to be penalties for submitting too many hack reports that turn out to be not true. Such as having your ability to report hackers limited if not revoked.
  • This is not priority and many will take advantage of this. I would rather want Report system to change in how they are viewed and organised by priority as well as feedback to each viewed report and a Wall of Shame to place hackers who are banned Permanently to show us they have been caught as well as a motivation to report real hackers.

    So it's a -1

Tons of people will start reporting everyone. Some poeople will even cheat on alts and report them to get the rewards.
    Bad idea
  • this reminds me about players that ask to give me, the smartaion ribbon, i help, ya gm, now give me plz that ribbon of smartaion and im helper fourmer, so plz give me the ribbon, well i dont agree to, the guys already saying there will be more report hacks and they are not hacking, some players are to pro they play games like cross fire even maybe from before 2009, like playing counter strike in the past and now he join crossfire in 2009, so now if he still play from that time before 2009, he will be super pro player, and cause u still trying to aim better, he will kill u, and all or almost all will say, oh he hack, lel, all u do is send report hack, and dont ask for rewards for that, cause u will get nothing from getting free reward ribbon like reporting hacker, p4shka, lel ur comment is very nice comment about they ban his other acc :D so they get free ribbon if this comes out lel, really bad idea anyway, thanks for trying
  • you can only get the rewards when the reports are viewed and hackers get banned. You can only reported once every 48 hours and too many faulty reports will result the players in not be able to submit anymore ticket in a week. I don't think crossfire ever going to do this but hey it's more motivation for players who putting effort in sending in the reports
  • May be offer that only players with VIP card can report:))) so not many egy or new accounts won't be able to report like that

i'm going to say no to that. A lot of dishonest players use VIP and many honest/wise players don't have VIP as well. By adding this restriction all you do is alienate a large portion of potential accurate hack reporters. I mean given you'd probably get rid of a larger percentage of report abusers. But I think if in any given weak you implement a 3 strike period and if you 'strike out' during the week then you're out for the rest of that week or even month. Too many consecutive strike outs and you're locked out of it for longer.

Similarly I think their current limit on amount of hack reports is fine. Just punish those who consistently make bad reports and prioritize those who consistently make good reports and reward them from time to time. Could work out and give people a reason to report actual hackers and to figure out what exactly is a hack.

The biggest problem would of course be when it's not a super obvious hack and thus whoever reviews the report...if they're not good and don't know the intricacies of the game/mode might not realize the reported player is indeed hacking. Thus giving you a strike that shouldn't of been a strike. And...while I don't know the un-named GMs who supposedly work the support system...but I know our GMs who do the live streams don't really know the intricacies concerning some modes or not very well anyways. (I mean....like every time they play escape they confused why they only have 1 grenade. can't bhop very well if at all in ghost. etc etc . So that's kinda a concern [no offense to those GMs but it is pretty true and kinda sad...like you'd think at least one of you would be an 'expert' in each mode so that you know the intricacies of the game better] )
