Celebrate the eight ribbon

I am not sure how to get this ribbon. To get this ribbon must I complete my monthly missions? Or must I have had been playing for 8 years to qualify for the ribbon?

Nah, the whole Celebrate the 8 Event is it's own Event entirely. You do need the Monthly Missions alongside that Event, however.

You'll have to wait until they announce it.
