Taken from the "Smilegate goes Europe FAQ":

Who will be able to play CROSSFIRE Europe after the transition?

"There won't be any changes as to who can play on which servers.
UK players are an exception as they will be able to play on CFNA and CFEU servers.
The services of other versions than CFEU are not affected."

Means CF EU is now open for players from the UK, don't know if it's ever been region blocked, but they certainly got support by CF EU now with the license being transfered from SG West to SG Europe.

    Turkey removed...

Are you mad or something ?

I was told by a friend of mine that smilegate will release a CF turkey/midle east version and that you will have seperate CFS qualifiers so be patient.

I'm not angry but only this is the case. Thank you for the comment. I hope the CFS Elements will be briefly explained
  • After 6 years of hard work, they just get left out. they have been competing in cf eu for years and all the time and effort and money that they invested in their accounts is now gone. Turks are forced to play on cf na with 180 ping, and not on cf eu where they belong.

I've spoke with 30+ people all they will all quit.

Lol... When EU came out around 2011 they blocked UK from playing cups after a while. UK had some of the best players in Europe back then and they all quit. What has Turkey done these past 6 years, to deserve the spot in ESL? Don't bring up the German Turks' achievements by the way. They aren't even affected by this.

First of all, if you wanna talk achievements. Consensus smashed the eu scene for a very long time. the top teams from europe for the past 2-3 years have had turkish players in their lineups. and turks living in other parts of europe are affected by this since there were teams, with mixed players. Now they are all forced to break-up. Most of them will quit.

But that doesnt even matter, its not about deserving a spot or not. Its about players who want to play this game and cannot play because of a license they are forced to play cfna servers with 180 ping.

Just because uk was banned for 5 years, which I agree was completely stupid. Doesnt mean turkey should be now aswell?? Why make the same mistake twice.

I can't really say a team with two players later banned for using 3rd party software, "smashed" the EU scene... Especially considered how awful they were when they came back to ESL. (Loads of people bypassed back then, because clearly it was easy to do.) The only good Turks I've heard of since CF EU came out, live in other countries than Turkey and joined up with other European people.

I'm with you on the point that it shouldn't matter where you live. On the other hand, I didn't see much people vouch for UK back in the days.
