Modem tappers

Merida is unplayable because of modem tappers, they unplug their ethernet cord and just teleport to you making camping spots useless. Can you guys do something about it?

This. Save the replay and send it to support. Modem tapping is a bannable offence if proven by an original replay saved and sent. Screen recordings, screenshots or any other type of "3rd party evidence" won't work.

Cannot prove it, as it as normal as Ping spike and they lag and teleport. Really hard to prove it's Spike or turned it off. Yes can say well happens when they enter that location,but some people also have huge ping spike random times and be coincidence happen at that specific time. People have done it to gain an advantage but like I said, no way to prove it. Replays do not record Ping status and even if it did, it won't distinguish Lag Spike or on purpose.

perhaps if the replay shows the same person doing it time and time again it'll be evidence enough as ping spikes aren't that consistent and you can't control them so for someone to 'lag' into one specific area time and time again should raise some alarms. True though that this issue is recognizably harder to identify to the support/report system.

This issue is one of the many reasons why i've always stayed away from Mutation stuff as even if they aren't modem tapping, the rooms are always full of massive laggers who don't get stunned when shot, teleport around the map, or mutate you from 10+ meters away.

If ever people who got ping spike receive client error code, i think no more people would do that.
