Right click on task bar, click on task manager. End any process that's related to crossfire like crossfire.exe, patcher_cf.exe, xtrap, hgw, etc.

I think you launched 2 times CF launcher that is why you receive this error code.
just close this, go to task manager, ctrl + alt + delete, make sure there no more launcher is on going.
then click the launcher again, if by any chance it takes time, DON'T CLICK SECOND TIMES, or you risk opening another client side which will cause this error.
