The only real trick is to just keep trying until you win. Likewise only spend what you're willing to lose as well.

Now that being said...IF you believe in the luck gauge...then I'd spin ZP crates that you value lowest until the gauge gets half way filled then switch to the ones you'd rather win. Simply because IF the Luck truly does increase your chances of winning...you'd rather win the things you want most.

Now this should have no bearing on it...but I personally have found I have better luck with multi-weapon crates and most of my ZP crate wins have been in the morning hours of server time as well. I only have a few wins in the afternoon/evening/night. I'm sure some theorists would have a reason for why that is....but as most others would say...."it's purely random and luck based"

Its weird i only win at certian times, usually 8-12 pm is when i usually get lucky. Also note each time i won i was high af so take that into consideration.

All of my wins after the new BM are not at when Lucky gauge is full, i think it does increase chance but not that much.
Someone already give the good tips, spin low value zp crates in your opinion, when lucky gauge is full, spin the one with the weapons you want badly.

Over 5m gp on de canadian and 1.5m on awm invcitus and I didnt win anything. The crates were expensive but thats still 1300 crates ffs.
Also had bad luck with sg540, that thing took me 4.5m gp.
Which is 2800 crates.

CF Black Market works like IRL slots or Japanese Gashapon. In the past i was opening crates until i win. For every gun i want. Like more than 300$ to win the M4 patriot.

I won cf-05 energy in 1 crate and a friend won the Ares sniper spinning on that spot

It's literally just RNG/Luck. There is no trick. I'm not sure if it still works this way, so I'd like a GM to confirm it if possible, but the prizes used to be decided the moment you clicked the button.
