I really liked it when Simrock was making official threads with spoilers. How come none took his place? Having a small taste of what was coming was very good indeed.
Anyways, I hope we get new coupons weapons as well and a decent SnD map although I doubt we will get one, they only add ZM content and useless modes which none plays after 2 weeks. -
Well, nowadays there isn't really much to build such a discussion thread on.
Before you usually had Preview Images slowly trickling out as a big patch drew closer, nowadays it's a lot more secretive which helps to build up the hype.
And even if you knew what was coming, unless it was leaked by official means, you aren't really allowed to say it on here, as far as I can recall.
However, I can get behind the notion that I'm really eager to see what those System Changes to the Coupons will be. -
Because there is no spoilers released prior to any patch, everything just get hidden until the official patch is live expect from VIP Pre-orders. It's been like this since Saidin left and it's been suggested many times on the forums to bring it back. Honestly...I'd get more hyped about an update if they released some previews/spoilers before it happened. Maybe if they released the spoilers/previews/update content when they do the ZP Bonus events in the days prior. Cause when they do those ZP Bonuses as it is you only have THE DAY OF the patch to get the bonus ZP while KNOWING what's in the patch. Like...I don't wanna buy ZP if the patch is lame. Yet the way it is makes it feel like 'hurry up and buy before you know because it MIGHT be something you like? and if it isn't...well then you have an entire back log of stuff to choose from! that you probably wouldnt of spent your money on if we hadn't pressured you to buy!'
I'll ALWAYS be a proponent of knowing about an event/update before it begins. Some easter egg surprises here and there are great though...just not the entire content update.
That being said....I'm hoping for a change in the coupon system, the valentine stuff, the COP Fractal, and VIP pre-order that includes packaging other VIPs in the package with it. Along with new maps for various modes such as Escape, Suppression, Wave, Super Soldier TD, Super Soldier S&D, Shadow, Spy, Bombing, and also wouldnt mind seeing the next ZM3 map...but that's a long ways off i'm sure. Bringing Sheep mode back would be nice as well. As would a change to the Daily Mission and the Dog Tags.
As for events...I'd like to see these events like 'Rise of the Phoenix' they've been doing to continue along with some that involve playing on whatever new content we get. I feel ZM3 was neglected in the events last month as in previous ZM updates we generally have had events that involve playing games or clears of the new map to achieve the event. But now a lot of people are burnt out on ZM3 and everyone and their dog have all the infection weapons for weeks on end if not months. (seriously...probably coulda made all of those more in line with the AA12 Infection in terms of how to get them)
But...honestly, I keep my expectations fairly low for CF. x] -

Agreed. Not buying ZP from those ZP bonuses unless you got the noble beast AK listed in the patch notes

I'm looking forward to or hoping for new Permanent Weapons for Coupons, maybe a new zm3 map with a new ribbon perhaps and if I really want to push my luck, I'd love to see a ranked match event so the ranked games can become populated again. I really hope those suggestions for events pays off.

Forgot to mention, fingers crossed for the return of Sheep Mode. The GM's would get my vote for supporting the community for that! -
