How did People get the perm plat weapons?

I seen some screen shots recently with people showing they got the guns perm from last season when I remember these same players complaining that they did not get them because they got deranked for inactivity ? Has something changed ?

Last maintenance they distributed the guns to the top 100 players. I dont know anyone who wasnt in top 100 or deranked and got a perm platinum gun tbh.

I got silver rank rewards even tho I was gold...
Sad man this is why I don't wanna play this game anymore

Ofc you can, at least in FFa. In SnD its a bit harder this season

I finished the Ranked Season 2 with Daimond and i was on top 100.First we get these weapons for 120 days some players get it permanent first we tought it was a issue we sent many tickets and after the last update they changed it to permanent,
