Is Crossfire dual-core or quad-core bound?
Hello community! I have always wondered if Crossfire is dual-core bound or quad-core bound? I have an a6-5400 which is dual-core and already overclocked to 4.4 MHz ( this is the one I'm currently using) and a quad-core a8-5500 with basic frequency of 3.2 MHz and turbo clock speed of 3.7 MHz. The later is locked which means less space for overclocking. Crossfire is like the only FPS game that I play. Should I swap my higher frequency dual cores (4.4 MHz) with lower frequency quad core (3.7 MHz) for this game? Please do not tell me to go Intel. I know Intel is great but not planning on upgrading my CPU at this moment. Any help would greatly appreciated! Thanks!

sry I had to xD
Savage lmao
ON Topic: I don't know if the CPU count that much in your situation because both are pretty good. If the GPU is good enough any of the two CPU's are good. Search for a comparisor wich one is better in gaming.
