HMX ribbons - conditions for a game to count?

Hey, I hope I'm not reposting or got into the wrong section.

I'm currently working on the "Xenophone" and "Lead the Invasion" ribbons and I need to keep track of my progression but I don't know and couldn't find any information about the criterias for a game to count. I understood that a game means a 9 rounds match (atleast 9 rounds). I even send a ticket to support but the answer was something like "if you did the matches the ribbon will appear soon" so, no help there.

There must be atleast 6 players in the room at the end of a game? OR any minimum number of players or 2 players is enough?
If I join in the last round of the match (like round 9/9) the game doesn't count?
Any minimum time I need to play in a game so the game counts? I think no, right?
If the score is Soldiers 5 - Mutants 4 (in 9 rounds match) the game counts as a win for Soldiers, right?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  • I don't have an official answer, hopefully a MOD or GM who knows could post an official answer however, I'd pressume (and to be on the safe side), of playing at least one round of the game, with at least 6 players in the room, just like the requirements for daily missions and also the side with the most amount of wins counts to the specific ribbons. For example, Soldiers win 5, Mutants win 4 in a 9 round game counts towards the soldier win Ribbon and viceversa
. However, it is really hard to say as, many others including myself, have completed the requirements for the ribbon and still haven't gained it on our profile. For some reason, they have seemed to be bugged and will not be given out to the players who complete the requirements for it and support have said they cannot track our progress for the ribbons.

Currently this is the way I'm tracking them. But I also tought that ribbons don't have requirements as far as I know (for example the 100k kills ribbons don't have requirements for the kills and also the 5000 games ribbon). But I still wish to know more informations.

Yeah, I know. As I said, I don't know officially. I was just stating what it would more than likely be, to stop/make it harder for players to farm them so they actually have to work for them. I was also just letting you know that (unless they've been fixed which I don't think they have) the ribbons are broken, so tracking them might not make much of a difference, even if you do get the requirements 0.0
  • If you're like the majority of us who wish there's a tracker for these two ribbons, please give this suggestion some support :3
  • I think same rules as for the daily missions.
  • i think the ribbon of this is broken, i won alot as soldiers and mutants as well in alot mutant mode wins, as for me as i know it need 6 players as u said, if 1 round sold win and u are soldier that round at end of game its +1 sold win for u for the ribbon, if u are mutant and mutnat wins at last end of game u get +1 mutant win + the ex +1 of the sold win, and u get +7 for the other mutant win if u are mutant and +** sold if u are sold and sold win, thats what i was thinking, i hope some 1 have better answer than mine, if im wrong, or its like some other said, about 5sold/4muntant=1 win for sold? is that it? awch thats very low +1 only, i was thinking like i said, its per round u get +5 sold and +4 mutant if u win with the same side that win the round

Depending on my knowledge on this matter, If the game ended as 5 rounds for soldiers / 4 rounds for mutants it'll count as a soldiers win towards the ribbon, If the game ended as 4 rounds for soldiers / 5 rounds for mutants it'll count as a mutants win towards the ribbon, That's my speculation regarding this because if it were anything different than that, then i should've gotten the soldier's ribbon way too long ago, So i think it depends on what i said, Also there's no way to track your games and i tried to send a ticket and they didn't tell me how many games i did but they said once i complete the requirements i'm getting the ribbon, So i'm not entirely sure as well if those particular two ribbons are bugged or not. i agree with u kiera as i said and u said as well, or if its per round like i first said, then those ribbons are broken, no other explain for this

It's not for rounds. Rounds are rounds and games are matches. A win for Soldiers it's like Lancer said, Soliders 5 - Mutants 4.
A win (for the ribbon) is a complete match of atleast 9 rounds.

i know, i said as well the same that kiera said, i said rounds + per game as well, anyway thanks u to
  • You will also need one survival for the xenophobia ribbon to count Just because the soldier won 5 - 4 against the mutants doesn't mean you get a +1 to the ribbon count you need to actually win as a Soldier atleast once for it to count.
  • Can any of the GMs come and reply plz and make everything clear for us, instead of making a thread every while and talk to ourselves!!..i sent them tickets but they didnt clarify anything in their answers ....
  • All I can say is follow the general rule of thumb, considering back in the day event and daily mission requirements were 6 players in game and at least 1 minute of game completion or in this case 1 round. As for how many games you have completed just manually track them.
  • And what about the bug , many people said that they had played more than 200 games and didnt get the ribbon. It will be a big waste of time..
