I guarantee there will be more events to win ribbons in the future. There was also an event recently in which you could get 3 ribbons with seperate requirements.

Obviously, they can't give out ribbons like if they were ZP crates. Ribbons are meant to be hard to get it and the prizes are meant to be rare and good.

So yes, there will be more events which will give out ribbons. When? We don't know. Just got to wait for a announce like the rest of us.
