M4 Custom Vs M4 Custom Crystal?

Heya folks of the forum,
I'm starting this thread as to get some opinions regarding the M4 custom-crystal, and the regular M4-Custom.
(I apologise if this has been asked before).

On the custom crystal, it's described as being "more stable" than the regular custom and as such I was wondering if there is, in fact,
any noticeable difference in performance/spray patterns/dmg etc between the two.

Those who do own both, if you could comment with your opinions and or experiences that would be brill!


Personally, I reckon the fire rate on the regular is a little faster, but the spray pattern/recoil not as tight?
Has anyone else seen this or can point me to a direct comparison vid of some kind?

I received the original M4A1-Custom Crystal in early 2010, a good year before it was actually released. We did a few tests, tried it out, and we could not find any differences. That was six years ago, I don't know if they'd changed some of its stats during that time.



Talking about the weapon description, well, there's many descriptions that claim a certain weapon has superior powers over the basic version. We tried them, and most of them have the same stats. For example, MP7-A claims to have armor piercing bullets - Same damage as the normal MP7. Or the AK47-St.-Patricks Day - Claims to have the luck of the Irish, yet I still don't have any better luck at Black Market *cough*

Way back then I noticed that the M4 Custom Crystal has somewhat a faster ROF than reg M4 silenced and M4 custom. Only a personal notion of course.

Yeah these were my initial thoughts, too.
It's nice to have a confirmation though - so I can tell my imagination to stop blaming the guns, rather than my performance! xD

I don't know if this is true, but having used both I think it might be right.

i find m4 cc to have a bigger recoil then m4 custom or a bit much harder to control on spray and it's skin affects a bit my game play.because it's a bit shiny.don't like shiny things.

Back in 2012/13 we tested them it and the M4-CC had a faster rate of fire, but didn't HS at long range with 1 shot. Don't know if they changed it, but they feel the same to me.

I own both and I just prefer using the regular version instead, I feel as if the M4A1-C-Crystal is a bit harder to control on the recoil.

M4 cc migh be faster but custom more stable

The Custom rate of fire is 10 rounds per second while the Custom Crystal is 11. I don't recall the point blank damage of the CC but its damage drops off significantly with range.

I have played with both and I think that the normal M4 Custom is much better than the CC. I dont know why but the ammos from CC are hopping a bit..its more difficult to kill the enemies.

I like M4 gold most muhaha:D
