Problems with FPS drop and freeze game in couple seconds

the following happens:
when you open a game everything is going in slow motion and after a few minutes everything is working ok.
But when I get into a room and I start playing, sometimes the game freezes
a few seconds ..
and when the room is full of players my
fps falls madly
I do not know if this is happening to me only, or has anyone else similar problems.

try lowering the resolution and turning off the special effect like blood, bullets trace and bullet smoke, this effect consume a lot of graphics.

its not from this effect.i have the same problem and my friend have to .My graphic card is 970 4 gb ram...so till 1 week it was only 220 fps now its allways 30/80 its going up and down.

same here 2 Gig GC and nothing
i play other games on high specs and all working fine

The game is outdated and we are getting too much content thats useless. There is like 25 tdm maps of which you can see 5 being played. The rest shows up only when there is an event running or something like that.
My fps also drops to something like 80, even though i have a machine that should be perfectly able to handle such an old game like crossfire.

Funny things is when i play the game jump and shoot it freeze ....and then im die ))

I have this problem too since july. The game is freezing for 1 second, especially when i shoot or when someone is shooting me, then i`m dead. My resolution is 1920x1080, 8 gb ram, gtx 960 4 gb ram, WINDOWS 10. Any known solution?
