Need Assistance for Lag.
Greetings Everyone,
My name is Ankit and i am from India, well i used to be 24*7 active participant of this game few years back, but because of some issues i had to stop gaming.
Now i am back and i just want to continue playing cross fire as i used to back then.
The problem is,Previously lets say around 2013-14 we indian players used to get fps/lag of 100-140 with a fair internet connection of 4 mpbs. But today when i loged in after 3 years using the same internet connection,i am getting lag/fps of 300-320.
I need some help here from the game authorities and technical team. What can i do in order to solve this problem, will a faster internet connection fix the problem or there is something which you can do from your end in order to alllow us Indian players to play this game with minimum lag.
Please provide a solution.
Thanks in Advance.

Basically if you want more FPS you need a better video card . Keep in mind that over 45 FPS human eye can't tell the difference if are 45 FPS or 145 FPS.. Personally i prefer a lower and stable FPS then high and unstable.
So my advise is to set vertical sync to ON - on your video card driver option, also in game use a rezolution of 1024x768 ... now you should have 60 or 75 to 85 FPS stable depending on your display capabilites.
2. To have a lower ping you need a faster internet connection - this game require at least a cable/DSL - but i think a more faster ADSL2+ minimal is required ( 17 mbps download / 1 mbps upload)
So you have to deal with your internet provider to see if you can get a faster internet connection to have a lower ping on CF game
P.S. You may try to run few speed test on www.speedtest.com , choose servers from UK / Germany and a server from NA / Torronto - now you can see what internet speed really have and ping..
Hello sir,
Thank you for replying on my query.
Well i am really sorry, what i meant above was ping.My ping is too damn high to play.ranging from 300 and above.
I am using a cable connection and my plan speed is 4mpbs. So according to you if i opt for speed plans such as 50mbps i will be able to play CF with much lesser ping right?
