Ghost mode idea
There are so many players that don't know how to play ghost mode. They spray with M60, RPK, Thompson, well... With everything! So here is my idea... Either make a gm2 where ONLY adv guns are possible to use. You know like in td with knife only, sniper only, etc... Add the option ''adv only'' to ghost mode. So, either you play with a silenced gun or you'll have your knife
The other idea is to make a new mode, as I sad, gm2. This will work like Alaska in EM. There will be, for example, couple M4A1-ADV on the ground in the GR base so the GR players can pick them up. So you don't use your own guns in this game mode.
So what are your thoughts about this? Do you have any better ideas? Do you like my ideas or do you think they are trash? discuss!

It used to be rare for people to spray in gr in NA, but with no kick we got so much sprayers you can't even get one kill on GR unless you also get an MG and spray. No skill in spray. -

I totally aggree with you! It's rare to find players that know how to play as gr these days. Even in BL haha. Seen so many that don't know how to bhop xD -
Although competitively people always use silenced weapon (m4), in pubs a lot of decent players use their weapons of choice. Although we all want to play in a good environment, it's better to just create personal room with password and observation stuffs to satisfy ourselves. Playing in the deadly spray of egys is also a good practice for your hearing. Anyway, with silenced-only option, some guys that love to snipe, but don't have Cheytac or Nemesis won't be able to show their OPness (shout out to my beloved Nelson?).
By the way, using a silenced weapon doesnt mean you know how to play either. I would feel better playing with a AK user who know how to play than a bunch of egys spray their M4 Custom Crystal at the wall without a single ghost breath. -
Ukantach1301, Idk how it would be a good pracitce listening to an ak47 till you become deaf. Be careful with your ears. I want to be able to hear stuff, not trying to get better by listening to loud sprays.
SomeaultP, why would it be sad? Just a way to save your ears. -

Even if you are the best player CF has ever seen in ghost mode, an RPK is going to deafen you just as much as it'd deafen someone who learned to pinpoint an hour ago if it's being fired constantly. That being said, a better player could probably protect themselves better while moving away from the spray, but still, in close proximity, neither of them could hear ghosts. -

yea rpk is loud lol -
I rather play with Aftershock? Using an ak than your random m4 vip user. If the sprayer (silenced or not) is following you or staying in the same site as you it is bad.
Granted 7 guys spraying m4 vips in b site while you patrol A is way better than rpks lol.
I wish we could teach people how to play the mode. -

I long for the day when they introduce a greater 'Tutorial Mode'. Like 1-2 map scenarios per mode type....the maps themselves could all be the same map and/or existing maps but then have scripting applied to them to teach players about the modes and allow them to train. It'd be a single player, or maybe small team in some cases, mode. For example in the GM based Tutorial Mode Map for GR you'd be placed in say Lab with a variety of stationary 'ghost' targets that breath that you must pin-point and kill. The tutorial script would guide you into finding the first one or two and then leave you to find the rest. It could also cover other mechanics...like forcing you to use certain weapons and having 'friendly Bots' as team mates that spray other weapons to demonstrate the negative effects of spray on pin pointing and the what not.
And a version for BL ghosts teaching how to Bhop, timing, paying attention to the ground type in order to reduce your noise and other strats etc etc.
Of course...many people wouldn't learn from it or just flat out wouldn't do it. But I think the idea of a more thorough and usable 'Tutorial Mode' could go a long way. (Heck even King Mode could be expanded with a 'Find the Ghost' challenge where players are given a winchester with like 3 shots and have to find the ghosts in their area.)
An unfortunately large portion of the player base truly appears to be unable to be taught...anything really...but especially how GM works. And it sadly goes beyond the language barriers in some cases. -
The problem is that the ghost mode community is dead and needs to be revived back through interesting competitions its a really nice mode, ive been a ghost mode player for over 5 years and until now i didnt find any other games that has this mode. The company should respect this mode a bit more since its so rare, the idea is now about a few players who play the mode its about the disinterest of making anything out of it which leads to players quitting it.. My suggestion for reviving our old beloved ghost mode is through making competitions, new events and new maps.. And of course a GM2 new mode mode would be interesting but the basics of GM should be kept only a few changes like only silenced guns only knives only shotguns only winchesters only pistols and so on

I like it. Perhaps making it a decent length and adding something like a silenced m4 (maybe even a 30 round clip) as a reward....... oh one can dream -
Something that could help new GMers and people who can't afford too much ZP is a new GP mega crate that has 2 permanent weapons i.e. M4-S Advanced and Elite Knife
Temporary weapons in the crate could include GM related items such a 1, 3, and 7 day breath down and sound down along with c4 kit.
One can only dream but maybe even 1-3 day Combat Axes could be put into the crate just so people have a shot at using one.
