new password system
Guys i think we need higher protection at ours password for our accounts. Maybe some more protection when we are log in ingame... You know many people spend many money for this game so i think this idea is fair enough. Maybe an extra confirmation code or higher password character's limits(not only 12) or remove this restriction(alphanumeric characters only) will be good.

I too thought about an option like using two passwords instead of just one to get access to the account, but I guess that's not going to happen.
And Vu, the reason is simple, it's money. -
Honestly....part of me feels like:
-"no this is just a game and that'd make the log in process more complicated and take longer than it needs to be"
but then there's also the person in me that would advise security on accounts that says
-"it wouldn't hurt. add in a 2nd verify process as then if someone does get your password because you went to some phishing site or sadly believed someone when they said 'YOU WANT FREE XMAS KUKRI GOLD DRAGON?!?!?!?!' that they can't just jump in on your account because they also have to know the 2nd verify thing which could be a lot of different possibilities."
that being said....doubt we'll ever see it. It'd take more dev time and community awareness of the change. It's one thing to have it from the get go, or to update it if you're something people rely on like a Bank. But a 'Free to Play' FPS game online...doubtful. It'd likely just cause a lot of people to not be able to log in and then come spam the same question here some absurd amount of time. -

Scammers would say give me your username and password if you want a free [INSERT WEAPON NAME] now.
If this was to be implemented, scammers would only change their tactics slightly and they'll just say
"give me your username, password and 2nd password if you want a free [INSERT WEAPON NAME] now."
I like Steam's verification method, where you need to confirm by email/SMS text when you login onto a different computer. -

I think that is not really a bad suggestion cause many players spent a lot on this game (including me) and all of us will get really mad if one day a scammer take our account..and in my opinion would be nice if every owner`s account could add his number phone for security reasons to get it back in case of scam tentative or forgotten pwd -
The idea is nice so we can feel more secure, but sadly there will always be stupid/naive people who share their own accounts with others and there will always be those who fall for phishing sites asking for all the personal info of ones account for fake give-aways. Hence, no matter what Z8 does, there will always be many cases of scamming going around (maybe due to the age group of the player base). So this suggestion is just a waste of time for the Developers.Nevertheless, I do still agree that changing our security settings to a more advanced level, sure wouldn't hurt us players (especially to those who haven't got access to their main email address because they didn't take it seriously at the start of creation).

Or they can just bring the old protection methods back. Asking for the security question and answer before you can change E-mail, and asking for the current registered E-mail.
Now I believe my account is totally insecure. If someone managed somehow to log into my account on the site, he would have an absolute control and will be capable of changing the pw and the registered e-mail easily. Make it safer, please. -

Isn't all of this a bit extreme? Im totally pro-vip but that's a bit too much attention, nothing ruins a family like a spoiled child. -
I agree to this the peoples who spend alot of money for the game will be really mad if someday anyone get scammed i would prefer that they add in the login window
the secret answer or a seperate password to better protect the accounts or maybe an option that everyone who want to protect his account that he can just set a seperate password or a secret answer or the same verification that steam uses by phone number

You're probably one od those who play at gaming centers i guess? I don't like the idea to be honest BUT we can always have a phone authentication method if Z8 is nice enough to do that..
