What this game became to?
I just joined some random SD sniper only match on UK1(only because I thought every one are using m700 there just like me)and there were 4 or 5 smile accounts with Golden Barretts (in 1 room)
I understand the Gm's are trying hard to keep players from leaving but this is just pathetic @_@"

Free TMPs, M14's, Shovel's, and so on. I don't think people need to spend ZP anymore...Don't forget the free armor and the free vip event which was a free vip for 3 days for playing only 15 min
And yet, they keep on begging you to gib them your vib waebon. yas -
Yup it's quite annoying to see how much free ZP items they're giving out. It's like giving the finger to every ZP spender.
so what if u don't win with the zp u bought...but get free crates for an event and win? will u still complain? it's not like they get 400 crates for it.... -

Yes. That would be about 1 out of 5000 players. All I see is a load of low ranked new players who haven't spent a penny on this game running around with ZP chars, Steyr TMPs, golden M14's, and a crap ton of other ZP content. This may be fun for them, and I'm pretty sure it will shut every mouth of every little kid crying about "this is a pay2win game", but on the other hand, it's just the perfect way to lose all your donors.
Let me add some more;
I used to spend ZP to win, let's say a Kriss Super-V from the Black Market. Got it for the ZP I bought and I was happy. Now, years later they add it to a whole new mall named FP mall for Friend Points. A currency you basically earn for free. But wait, that's not all, the FP version even has an extra 5 bullets while the "normal" ZP version doesn't. But hey, that's still not everything. Let's add an M4A1-Custom with an extra 8 bullets to the FP mall while we keep the black market M4A1-Custom down to +5 bullets. But hey, it's still not everything. Let's add another Kukri, an AK47-Knife and a Gatling Gun to that free currency while tons of other players tried to win those weapons by buying ZP crates. But Jessy, that's still not all of it. We should add another reward system to the already existing Badge, Achievement and Daily Mission System! Let's add the Special Missions and the Attendance Check, where every player gets at least a 7 day golden version of one of the best ZP weapons in this game, just for a simple log in! Isn't it awesome?
Oh wait, I forgot to mention all the events we've had during the last 2 years where everyone got either a temporary VIP weapon, or comparatively huge ammounts of ZP crates. -
keeping this game a live normal policy .
but
spraying free weapons temp vips and all this stuff become ( over )
now the gap between zp spenders and normal players getting low .
im not saying to stop this events , but the rewards must be added with fair .
*** more than 200 winners get barret ultimate gold , this barret lost shiny name honestly . -
Snip
Personally, the thought of seeing a better version of your weapon after some time passes is usually a given. I spun for the M14EBR back when it was released and was quite happy about it, fast forward to now, and you are able to get a superior version with ease.
In a sense, I can commend CrossFire for giving out stuff to newer players which easily can compete with the equipment veterans use instead of dropping them into the cold water with an M16 and 46/36K GP back in the old days.
On the other hand, yes, It might be rather unfortunate to see the Gun you've spent money for being given away like Candy.
They want to get a steady influx of newer players in and are hoping for some of them to spend some money so they maybe get a shot at a perm M14 Ultimate Gold, for example. Which I find quite understandable for a business.
In the End, I'm torn. While I can appreciate CrossFire being so lenient with the Stuff they give to their newer players with the free Crates and such, the thought of the free stuff being something superior to something I paid money for... is rather grating, but as I stated above, understandable, in my opinion.
So let me be so bold as to pose a question, because after racking my brain for some time, I failed to find a reasonable answer for myself.
How do you balance getting new players in and possibly making them stay, and not step on the feet of your current donors in one way or the other? I'm really interested in the thoughts of you, the reader, who has read so far regarding the question.
I figured if we are on this topic, I might as well go and ask and type down my general thoughts on the whole thing. My thanks for reading this far. -

I didn't say they should stop all those events and reward systems, but right now it's just too much. -

I didn't accuse you of having stated that, my apologies if it perhaps came off wrong. With that statement, another Question popped up for me, however. Is there ever "too much free stuff"?
In a way, we still get to benefit from it just like anyone else. It's still an even playing field, newer players have to do just as much (or little) stuff as we have to, to obtain the same advantage. -
Honestly what would you guys rather have a few of you who won op weapons in the beginning fighting each other or a new influx of players coming in because the game isnt p2w it just seems that way at first glance lets go over these so called free zp weapons
1. Free Crates can you honestly say they are easy to get usually they take multiple hours to get and its only 1-10 crates and we all know unless you extremely luck you aint gonna win.
2. Gold Weapons these are given to you after logging in 30 days <<<< 30 DAYS and which you get a random one for 7 14 or 30 days so theres no guarantee you get it tell your next box the other way is the special missions which only give you a gold weapon for 1-3 days and you can only get this box once a week making it impossible to get a "permanent" zp weapon.
3. The TMP again its something you only get once a month and its 7 days get over it for 7 days.
If there were any i missed do tell me im sure i have a way to tell you to shut up about it as this is a FREE TO PLAY game god forbid good weapons be free -
I don't mind the events in giving new players new guns.
It's rather a win-win scenario for me.
1. If they see a VIP user like me and they want to trade, this gives me a chance to try out new guns without me having to do the events or spin crates.
2. If the new players have better guns, I feel it might decrease the chance of them begging and following me for my VIPs and start to actually play the game.
The player base is already low as it is. Free temp guns is just barely keeping new players.
If we stop these events then we might be left with only a small handful of players(excluding paying users) -
I can't really understand what your wrong is, people. Why do you care if those players have paid to get those shiny guns or not? You wouldn't take a commission if they paid, so stop asking the owners to take money. IT IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS. The guns belong to Z8Games who have the ultimate right to give 'em out to anyone.
Buy the weapons or get them for free, nobody should care. You did chose to pay, none asked you to.
I've previously paid, I'm still paying and i'm planning to pay in the future, tho, I'm still enjoying the free stuff and grateful for getting free crates. -

There is no logic behind this. Almost nobody would pay if we know that the gun we paid for is gonna be released in a free version few months later.
For example eagle who posted here too has m4 tiger from a zp crate and he paid for it. Few months later m4 tiger gets added to zm prizes now everyone can get one. He had a special gun, now he doesnt.
My example. I spent 125k zp for m4 jasmine on tiered spender event, few months later in egypt they provide players with redeem codes and posibility of getting permanent m4 jasmine for free. Thats not making players who run this game for you happy.
