I know most of you probably won't be reading this by now, I only just remembered to check out this thread. In-case you guys are still reading around here, I just wanted to say, "commiserations to all those who participated and didn't get in top 3, and congratulations to the winners, I loved all the entries, they were pretty spot on."

What m12_sprayer said is intriguing.
If the community chose, people would be voting for themselves. It will cause a lot of spam and people making new accounts just to vote for themselves.
I don't mind if the MODs got in with the voting with the GMs. -

I think that sounds pretty good to me, I wonder what the GMs will think on Monday when they're back at the office on Monday.
I mean I don't see that many satisfied people honestly, the only positive thing I've seen is people saying congrats, and then saying how did those submissions win even though it had nothing to do with Halloween lol. -

I wouldn't call it a fake per say, just unfair that winners are chosen based on character popularity. That should have been stated in the contest because it sure looks like ALL 3 of those characters are the MOST known characters in game. -

Well for starters who doesn't play MM/HMX. Every server you join you see HMX rooms, so by logic most people should know the Maiden. 2nd one.....do I even have to bother it's a character they literally give you for free. 3rd one is a 4 year old zp character, who wouldn't know about it?
Now this is an old zombie character from crossfire yet not even the GM knew about it, why? well simply because the zombie only appears in like 1 old zombie mode map that no one plays now, so does that make it not "crossfire themed" because it's old and not known? -
can they choose the FAL Custom-Camo permanent?
I suppose it would be like asking if they could choose a permanent Xeno character. Short answer is no. It would be game breaking and requires a lot of time for the GM's to add these into any modes rather then just Mutation modes. -

Actually, this is incorrect. It's possible since there are a few versions which already have it in other modes. So I guess it wouldn't be breaking the game nor using up the GMs time since all they have to do is to ask the developers to add it into the database. However, since it's not already in the database, you won't be able to choose this weapon if you become one of the winners of the contest. -

Yeah, they chose whatever but an AK with 2 stickers and less Ammo and a Nade... wat.....
And also, I've been seeing some cool costumes, for example the zombie guy. [GM]Kanadian didn't even know it was from CF, now imagine if he was the best costume but GMs didn't know it was a game character, LEL. I'd be so mad fr... -

Guys... I don't think they care at this point, let's not forget they are a company, if they make a mistake they'll do whatever it takes to look or sound right, and its not a bad thing.

Indeed.
Losing is part of the game. But when you see that 2 outta 3 winners of this halloween costume contest dont even have anything to do with halloween I'd be frustrated too. And then to top it hear that the GM didnt even know what that char is, lol Idk if I would cry or laugh.
Give this man something.
