Black Market Odds?

Is there a set amount of crates you have to purchase in order to win a perm weapon? Or does it work like a slot machine in a casino, where a certain amount of players have to get useless things before one lucky player is selected to get a permanent? Just curious because I just went through a few dozen Rebel Action Crates without even seeing a permanent weapon on the sides of the winning crates, and instead getting useless things like GP and coupons and temp weapons and sprays. The same thing also happened to me when I bought 35 Dual SMG Crates and got nothing out of it.

I'll admit, the thought of getting a perm ZP gun like the dual SMGs is awesome, but it always ends in horrendus disappointment due to the 0.1% chance to get a perm, haha.

Also, I noticed the last slot of the crates are always GP? Is that supposed to happen? If so, then you really aren't winning 3 possibly slightly-worth while items (or a perm) per crate, eh?

  • I believe you do always win at least 1 slot of GP. However, the actual odds are random. it's like 3% or less chance on each spin of winning the best items or something like that. I'd consider yourself lucky if you win in under 50 crates but SUPER lucky if you win in within 10 crates and even more so if those crates were free from doing an event.

To put it lightly....before I ever won my first ZP crate weapon I had spun like 200 Halloween crates without winning and then 200 Christmas crates without winning and then finally won on new years crate after like 60 crates. However, I've also talked to others, who say they've spent like $1,500 trying to win both Rebel items in the Rebel Cause crate with the AK and the SPAS and another $1,500 on the new Rebel crate with the TMP and the Anaconda. Honestly not sure why anyone would go to THAT length....but...if they have the money to spend...have fun.

Needless to say...only spend what you're willing to lose. As it's a gamble. Oh...and once you win your first one...try not to get addicted to spinning...you'll burn through money if you do. LOL
  • And some events require you to win all of the weapons in a certain crate, LOL. Do the GMs not know the odds of getting a 'best' weapon?

But I've won most of my ZP weapons in under 50 crates
  • The win rate for the perm items in ZP crates is slim to none. Personally I've won a few of my weapons in 1 crate, but I've also spun 600k ZP worth of the original M14 crates and have never won it. It really just comes down to a lot of luck and a little knowhow.

Hoo boy, 1.5k on the rebels crate? I'm not willing to put in more than $25 when it came to that crate. I finally was able to get one of the Dual SMG's (thankfully it was the dual MP7A1s, which is what I wanted) so my escapade of ZP crates is over now. I spent about $80 on crates for that alone and I honestly don't care for the other ZP weapons, so I think I'm good for the addiction part, but thanks for the concern xD
  • The way the thing work is 2 RNG based item with 1 RNG based GP amount (only for NA/UK)

The only thing annoying is winning 1000 GP 3 times in a row in 1 spin without any bonus come on Z8 atleast the Casino is nice enough to give me a jackpot when i get 3 7 why can`t you guys give a player bonus prize for triple 1000 GP
  • They should be transparent about the win rate. And they should let us know. 1 win in X amount of crates.
