will there ever be australian/oceanic servers

Ive just been recently playing crossfire and greatly enjoying the game. However the lag i get (around 240ping) just puts me at a big disadvantage compared to the locals. Crossfire has many versions based on main area regions, and i was expecting that an aus server was standard, after some time playing ive seen a quite a few others who are from the oceanic region so I guess its not just me playing it

I just want to know if there any future plans for an oceanic server? Has there been one before? Issues with an aus server? Is there one already that im just blind

Most likely not. They already said that they are not going to make any new servers in Egypt or Australia.

Even if they were to make one of those, I'm pretty sure they would make the Egy server first due to rather large amount of players being from that area.

It has been requested many times however, to get a server in Australia, they would first need to agree that there is enough players to support a server then they would need to get permission from Smilegate and then request a license in the country to have a server (I'm pretty I've missed a few steps here). They would also need to find the right location for a sever in Australia.

Overall, what I'm saying is that it take times, a lot research and money to invest into a server is Australia.

Feel quite sorry for AU, they could trial it and see how it goes.but having said that they would have to do one for Egypt aswell? so they don't feel left out hhhhh.
