About steyr tmp
It's too overpowered. I don't know how, but every low rank egy playing with it.
Too much damage for smg, too fast reload speed. And the "stopping power"...
That's not even funny. An egy spraying in long with it and i cant move. Even through box.
Mind mierfing it?
It's important.
Or just don't add it to CFS Celebrate package!

-They generally get it from the Attendance Primary Ticket system. so they'll have it for 7 days then they might pick it up again in about a month if they play every day.
-Too much damage? It does less than the Kriss Super V in my experience and it's damage drops off more the further away you get than the Kriss or others. (also Kriss Ares has the JHP ammo too so lol only reason people aren't QQing there is cause not everyone can get it for 7 days every month)

(though pls don't QQ saying that it ruined wave mode cause Shock Class special effect is by far worse in terms of 'stopping' and messing up the screen)
-while i'm sure the JHP effect still works through box the damage output through a box should be low single digits. IIRC when I test the TMP Valentine it was doing no more than 4 HP per shot through a box.
-mierfing it? I assume you mean nerfing it...and if there is to be a nerf it'd have to be just removing the JHP ammo on the regular TMP but keeping it on the ZP variants. But I doubt it'll happen at this point. Although it could probably use a little more recoil and a little less initial accuracy as well. That might balance it out too.
Honestly, best thing to do if you know a TMP is being used is to identify who has it and keep your distance. It's weak and it'll hit you less at further distance meanwhile you can still rip them apart with an m4, AK, or any Rifle. (or any thing that can do good damage at longer ranges really) -
I think all our problems would be solved if we just decreased the ammo by ten bullets per mag. It'd still be overpowered but at least this way you can't just run through half a team like its Christmas morning and the enemies are just your younger siblings.

lol. the people who KNOW how to play and use it also generally stack on multiple VIP Thompsons too to give it up to +42 extra bullets. (each Thompson giving +7) So if THAT was fixed or rather changed, were each VIP Ammo effect didn't stack if you have multiple of the same VIP, then your scenario would probably be a lot less common too. (So for example 2 VIP Thompsons would still only give +7 but having a VIP Deagle and the VIP Barret Iron Shark would still give +3 for Pistol ammo 2 from the Deagle and 1 from the Shark)
Can't say I haven't thought about buying more VIP Thompsons for that sole purpose myself but i'm not that cheap. If I did it, i'd probably limit it to ZMs cause that'd be fun in of itself. -

Not to mention how incredibly rude it is to TL;DR someones contribution to the topic you've opened up.
On Topic, there is just something about the Steyr TMP that sets it apart from any other SMG, to me, it seems like the non plus ultra.
Be it low spread, insanely fast firing rate, a lightning fast reload, light weight and the Stopping power perk, the TMP has it all. For something that everyone can pick up for 7 Days every month, it just sort of feels like power creep to me. -

I remember the days when people would complain and go as far as kicking you for using a m12s. But for some reason its ok to use this even tho its 3 times as OP...

I remember that too. It usually wasn't even over the m12s though...it was almost always because it was the laggers of the time weapon of choice. Though I will say people still QQ over the use of ANY SMG every now and then. I've had them QQ over using regular MP5 before telling me to use a real gun cause they didn't like that I rushed and flushed which is THE purpose of an SMG.
I'd agree with the removal of the regular Steyr TMP from the Attendance primary ticket. Maybe it should've been one of the 80 coupon temporaries instead. That way it's still IN the game and not just taking up data space but less people will have it and only those dedicated to getting coupons.
Still find it funny that despite all the QQs a lot of people JUMPED all over the Steyr TMP Justice crate last update. Even people I had seen previously QQ about it. LOL It's okay if THEY have it...but if someone else does then NOPE nerf! -
I am one of those Ares JHP kriss owner and much to your sadness i use it as my bag 1 primary and my bag one is built for flanking in mind. So yes I know how annoying it is to be in the receiving end of those TMP/JHP weapons. But it so fun to feel the Anger of those players.

lol i have a bag like that and it is fun to use. Mine is Bag 2 TMP Val, Raging Bull Halloween, and Laser dagger Val. The power of Rush and Flush! And usually if I see someone QQ about someone else using a TMP...that's when I switch to mine. Just to pack in the salt. Or if someone on the other team uses one too. But I also have the Ares Kriss and the Ares MP5 so I have 3 guns with the JHP for this but rarely use the MP5 and the Kriss goes in when I feel I need longer range and more damage per bullet.lets just PRAY our version wont be getting the CFS TMP package this year ._.

At least with the packages a lot of the nabbier nabs don't even realize they're there and aren't forced to choose one like the attendance check. -

One it will be called Rebel in this version and 2 I think it was recently added in China version along with a expansion of HMX. But Rebel and Ares set is the only set I'm fine will it over powerness due to the fact the weapons were design to have a added ability my guess they will added a 3rd rebel crate and put the TMP and Anaconda (I just woke so I don't care if i got the name wrong) but what we really need is a rubber duck scratch that we need a Fork or a spoon or better yet a fork and knife as melee weapon killing player with dining gear will be so funning and it will totally be reference to MGS3:SE fork weapon.
