Is this worth coming back to ?

I played this when I was younger, been thinking of downloading it again. Is it worth it ?

What I'm wondering is:

Is there a ''ranked'' mode outside of clan vs clan now
Are guns still so hard to get via ZP spins, or did they add some permanent ( and affordable ) guns for ZP / GP ( not the 100$ VIP guns ... )
How is the community
Is there as much hackers as there used to be 3-4 years ago in pubs
Does the game support 1080p or higher now

-Plenty of good Perm GP weapons now.
-Community isn't as bad as it was 4 years ago or so...

in the options now, sadly the menu is still 600x800 only, and you have a choice between your monitors switching between the two resolutions or using windowed mode, which leaves a border when playing...and spins only for the majority, there are some temp zp guns available, but they're only temp...

The new maps have a slider to adjust, press "esc" and then move it to the right to get better background effects etc...I'm not a fan of the new map though, it's completely changed the bases, meaning you can get spawn killed SO much easier...

Didn't they up the Menu resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768?

I remember seeing a CrossFire Screenshot from pre 2.0 and 2.0 and the screenshots were noticeably different in size.

Not that it accounts for much lmao, they could at least went for a Widescreen resolution on the Menus.

Other than that, I'm not going to pretend like the Game doesn't have any flaws, but it certainly is better than what it was a few years back.

If you come to the forums ask if it's worth coming back, you will get different answers. So you have to try the game yourself for a week or so and see how things go.

AK silver....shiny? Didnt it always looked like chalk?

- There are new ranked matches, but they are ruined by hackers, so barely anyone even plays them
-Those silly black market crates are still here. You have an item shop with perm GP weapons and temp ZP weapons as is used to be. There is also a new FP Mall with some rather good temp weapons which are mostly reskins of GP/ZP guns with extra bullets.
- "community"... Majority of players in this community doesn't even understand BASIC English, they have no damn clue how to play, and next to that they just kick you for random reasons. Not good
-In pubs no. Pubs are clear. But ranked matches are a dangerous place. Only way hackers get caught is by x-trap, as hacking reports seem to be a waste of time.

It got muted in color when the Ultimate silver guns came out

Preset and I just tested and they're both Shiny in the sun and dark in the shadow. M4 Silver, AK Silver, AK Gold, DE Silver, etc.
