ZM2 character sets

Set A - 5 Items from the Shipyard map + MG Mag

Set B - 4 items from the new hard version of SS map + 1 item from Shipyard map + MG mag

While playing ZM2 today, I noticed something strange. I got myself almost a full set of character items from the hard version of Shattered Station map. I noticed that I recieve a little bit too much damage when I get hit. That's why I decided to "test" these sets, as they are supposed to block some damage in Zombie mode and zm2. This is what I got for now (I had no bulletproof items on):

Regular Flame Satyr: Set A - 13 dmg, Set B - 16 dmg
Green Flame Satyr: Set A - 32 dmg, Set B - 39 dmg
"Those fast little white things which spawn when you kill a big thing": Set A - 3 dmg, Set B - 4 dmg

So, as Set B comes from a HARD version of a map, while Set A comes from a NORMAL version, I tought it would be natural that Set B brings more protection.
In the description of items from Shattered Station[Hard] it says "Damage reduction 7%" and on two of them it says "20%", while in description of Shipyard items it says just "Damage reduction". It doesn't specify the percentage.

Should we be recieving more damage with the new Set B than we do with Set A?
Why is there no specified percentage of the damage reduction on Shipyard items?

While using Overcharged Backpack and Overcharged Mini we recieve extra fuel capacity.
Why isn't that mentioned in the item description?

Comments

  • Probably because Set B is supposed to be an alternative rather than an upgrade, seeing how it gives you 40(?) More Total fuel.

That, or they just didn't pay too much attention on the B set actually being better than the A set.
  • Did they fix the pouch bug (wearing a Pouch make the Mag item lose they're effect)

I thought about that actually. If it gives extra fuel, it gives less protection. But you know, they could have added some of that info in the descripition :P

As far as I know, MG mag works as it should.
  • I also use the complete gear (all 6!, op uses 5) and experience the same damage bugs. I should be immortal, yet I die at least once in a 15 round game. Plus it would be nice if they fixed the bug where you basically have to relog to make zm2 items effects apply otherwise you get client errors or they aren't on you in the game even if you see them on you in the storage..

That's also a pain in the back, as well as zombies teleporting. I hope to see atleast some of these bugs getting fixed.

I use complete set B too with 2 overcharged items from set and dmg reductions goes up to 68% and I really can't complain about it. I play shattered station only and as I usually pull all Elite zombies on me and kite them around map until all other zombies are dead I do see a difference while wearing set because of those other zombies that sometimes hit me while I kite Elites.
In another thread someone mentioned that it is possible to fix damage reduction bug if you relog after you apply set on your character altough damage reduction bug never occured to me so I can't confirm that.

Edit: devs should probably look at numbers regarding damage reduction, it seems low in comparison to how high damage reduction is in description but I'm positive that damage reduction works.
