I guess my team (Portugal) has no chance to take the gold medal >.< ...i just dont understand why u guys from team GB still continue to play all day to be first in top,while u have already got the gold medal (5) .Im not saying now, that you guys shouldn' t play xD , but give to others one opportunity to get it. We are one community, we should help each other!

Who knows what the Number 1 Country gets for being Number 1? Perhaps that's where the Wind is coming from as to why UK is outright refusing other smaller Countries to have a shot at getting it. Then again, if it isn't the UK, it'll be China that'll steal the Gold.
The Ribbon certainly looks neat. -

IK how you feel. I already expected a defeat from Portugal right before this all started (since the Portuguese community is so small here), that's why I picked USA (thinking it would stand a chance), but since I wasn't happy with other nations having so much more advantage with daily averages/farms ect, I got pessimist/tired and gave up my efforts (which I shouldn't have but sometimes end up doing).
Looking at the plus side, you are Top 10 in the Sweeping event (congratulations), so you are sure to get something at least, which is always good (just hope that it's not a 30 day NC or Spray, LOL).
On Topic: I doubt other nations who already have won a Gold medal will ever sympathise to the under-dogs, since this world is sadly full of greed and high competition.
This event pretty much hurt many optimist players, lets 'try to hope' for something better soon. -

Can you give the ribbon to all users that participated in the event? we played and did our best we deserve something atleast..

Technically speaking yes, you can do whatever you please, but that's also the same mentality of a rapist / homicidal maniac etc. That may be a bit extreme, but in CF terms hackers can hack if they so wanted. If someone wanted to kick you they can do it, just because they want to.

They do get removed providing there is sufficient evidence of the player farming. The player will also get removed from the team. A bug probably exists where the said player(s) who have been removed can still participate in another category of this event. I could test the theory out but I'm probably busy tomorrow. -

Good for Team Portugal. I don't even care if they farm. I hope they can maintain #1 spot in nades, because we know how easy it is for Team Britain and Mexico to just take #1 without even trying because they have an advantage with smaller number of people on the team. This is how broken this is. Anyone that abuses the event deserves to get removed, period. That includes everyone. If you need to cheat to get fake accomplishments you might as well quit, it must be really fun sitting round farming all day... -

I'm only going to respond to you once, because I agree farming is cheap. However, the GMs already said if there's proof of farming, they will get removed. The issue is then, how can we prove it if they are playing in passwords rooms? My solution: I've already suggested that actions occurring in locked/passworded rooms be disqualified, but the GMs still allow it. If the GMs are backing up the farmers, what good does *caring* do?
Rather than go around highlighting everytime someone makes a comment about supporting the farmers, why don't you use your time to also think of ways to improve the mechanism of the CF Games. Might not make any difference for this one that is about to end, but it's a better use of your time than calling out users of the forum that have no control over whether farmers stay or not

Literally took me 2 minutes to think of a better mechanism to record the scores. Add a cap of how many [whatever the event requires] can be added towards your team's total. It's not hard. That's not all the only reason why everyone's bent out of shape about this event is the ribbon. Tell everyone that participates gets a ribbon, most people will be happy. But yeah it is too late for it.
Supporting cheaters makes you part of the problem. This is why the community is so bad, I have to highlight it, so that people that may read the forums don't go and think this guy said he's going to cheat I think i'm going to follow in his footsteps. -
