About xtrap error

Hello guys and ladies,

i am getting this error code; http://pasteboard.co/aFwNHl1ld.bmp

I can't even find anything about this error on web. ppl are getting the last numbers as -000 and i have 001 but never seen someone on web with the same code. i don't know what is wrong
when i hit start button then this error appears. I don't have antivirus. and firewall is disabled since ever. My pc is safe. I don't have any virusses or spy's in my system. I downloaded the newest client reinstalled it 3 times into different partitions. Still not working. also did a combofix scan then tried again. still the same result.

Used xtrap before with another games. I didn't have any trouble with them. but can not play this game. Does anyone knows how to solve this? also can i see any log files for xtrap after the error pops up?

By the way i am closing all processes which i don't use and also services. Not workiiiiiiing .________. should i uninstall?

Have you tried to re-install by following these steps?:

1. Control Panel -> Z8Games -> CrossFire -> Uninstall CrossFire
2. Open Up My Computer
3. Delete the CF directory (Program Files/Z8Games/CrossFire/)
4. Delete the CF directory (<user>/Document/CrossFire/) (Make sure you backup any screenshots or replays you may have before doing this).
5. Disable your anti virus
6. Download the newest client from our downloads site
7. Install the game from the new download
8. Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
9. Re-enable realtime protection

Hopefully, that will fix the problem! Good Luck and post your results here!

Thank you for your advises, i did it and not working. uninstalled it completely atm was north america server. tomorrow i will download for european server and make you guys know if it works

What about your Firewall? Have you added CrossFire to your Firewall exception list? If that doesn't work then list the background programs that you have.

I don't use firewall, it is disabled and services about it too. and process list is only system stuff. i closed everything and uninstalled cheat engine. still the same

Are you getting the same exact error message? And can you post a screenshot of your background process?

yes always the same error. atm i found an other error, my firewall is not in the list of services.msc. i downloaded microsoft safety scanner. it found 3 virusses, probably it is causing the error. i can't turn firewall on. will make you know after

I fixed it too, and not working. just a lame anti hack program. that is all

From the list that you posted, I can see that the VMware is running in he background. Try closing this down and re-start CrossFire again to see if it works.

not working, i disabled all services of it too and removed xtrap folder before starting. got the same error

Now the only other option I can see is doing a system restore. I don't know if you want to do that or not but you can always send in a support ticket and link this thread in the ticket.

i won't do a system restore and sent them a ticket before the forum topic. they suggested me here anyways, thanks for your help. maybe it needs a fresh system on this hdd. i don't want it for a game. have fun
