Cant Login Into Crossfire

I can load everything fine, the patcher, xtrap , hgw all of that. When the game actually comes up though it never loads the log in box it just shows the backround.

What is your connection speed like? Where are you from? What OS are you running? Do you have any other programs running in the background?

This happened to a few players a few years ago. It was determined at that time that it was due to connection speed. Just like [GM]Kanadian said, what is your connection speed like? Have you tried waiting? And for how long?

I am from Ilinois, My connection speed is 40-50 MBPS per speedtest.net Im running windows 8 and no just running crossfire.

Everything worked yesterday today it doesn't.

Ive treid waiting for like 3 minutes.

Btw using a very good computer, great graphics card and 8 gb ram and whatnot.

Perhaps trying system restore? Usually whenever you update your windows or every week it automatically creates a system restore point. If you want to do this look at this guide and make sure to restore to a point where you know that CF worked for you.

I would also recommend uploading a screenshot of your processes so we can see if there are any programs in the background that may be interfering with your connection.

I found a fix, simply by clicking the game over and over while it is still on the black screen loading up. The game will freeze and give me a gray screen and then I'll just press "wait for crossfire to respond" then the gray screen goes away and it loads up. It's weird but if I start it normally it wont load. I have to make it unresponsive for it to load. Not complaining though as I got it working now

This is incredibly strange, but I'm glad its working, at any rate. Let us know if you run into any more problems!

You don't fix that, the Version under your jurisdiction is China. You also don't necro threads which have nothing to do with the topic.
