error in xtrap 10-0300-800c0008-104

it has been a while since i started getting this error 10-0300-800c0008-104 in x-trap .. its saying '''access to x-trap patch server
is unstable or x-trap wasn't able to run properly. please restart game'''

if sumone can upload x-trap and hgwc folders that's even better..

tried reinstalling? yes
deleted anti-virus while installing? yes
added it to exclusions in firewall? yes

i have windows 10 .. error started appearing when i re-installed all system apps except keeping the folders..

Locate your crossfire folder and delete the folder named xtrap, once you've done that start the game back up and thus by deleting the folder it'll cause xtrap to redownload and automatically update itself.

The clue is in the error, it's timing out, meaning either something is blocking the connection to the XTrap server, or your internet speed isn't fast enough to establish a handshake with the XTrap server, leading to the timeout.

What on earth makes you think anyone this day and age doesnt have a connection fast enough to send a packet to xtrap?!

you could just google "xtrap error 08-0400-00000000-000 solution" you know >.<"

any way try this:

turn off your antivirus
delete the x-trap file from the CF folder
use Ccleaner

after this try to log in

i googled everyone have the error didn't get this fixed .. tried turning off the anti-virus, ccleaner and deleted x-trap folder .. same error

currently no anti-virus since i deleted eset anti-virus to try to get the game to work...

Lol i tried doing that .. they couldn't help me .. i solved it by going in safe mode and then updating X-Trap since that i i thought that there is programs that prevent x-trap from updating .. so if anyone having the same error this is the perfect solution .. GM solved...

can you do a zipped folder of your xtrap files ? i dont know the problem of my computer it just closes the game without error -.- since e buy this computer never could play CF anymore -.-

Perhaps create a separate thread about your issue. And be sure to have atleast a screenshot or two that are showing your problem so we can begin to troubleshoot and resolve your issue.
