crossfire screen stuck at corner of desktop

when it's loading (before the login box is shown) it's full screen. Then when the login boxes appear it moves to the bottom right corner of my desktop, hald of the Crossfire screen covered so I can't do anything, I have no other app open before or during the game. i cannot fix this; help, please??

try this

go to documents > cross fire

delete system.dat

should work

Go to your CrossFire Screenshot folder, and open up the System.dat file with an editor of your choice.

Change the number that I marked (Which should be a 0 in your File) to a 1 like on my screenshot.

Save your changes afterwards.

What it does is put your Game into Windowed Mode. A temporary solution, but it'll let you play at least.

You've deleted the System.dat file, so you are in the right place.

Instead of deleting it, open it with an editor, and change the number I marked which should be a 0 in your file into a 1.

If you still have any problems, just replace your file with mine, that should do the trick just as well.

It'll stay on fullscreen on default, so even if you reinstall, it probably won't fix your problem.

So try to follow my directions.

I have the same problem. Thanks to Preset, he helped me. But the problems goes back again.

I also made a thread about it and didn't get much help about a perm fix. Seems like Z8 hasn't looked into it again. You can reinstall, the problem will be back (at least for me). Even reseted my computer, and still have this problem.

Yeah, it just comes back even after you reinstall. Hope Z8 is informed of this problem and will hopefully try to solve it soon.
