Problems with X-Trap

This happens every single time I try to launch the game. Haven't even had the chance to play this game yet, at all and I was really excited because this looked neat. I use Windows 7. Also, I looked in the game files and the X-Trap folder was empty. So was hgwc folder.

What I've Tried :
Adding exception to firewall
Turning firewall completely off
Fresh install of game
Uninstalling then reinstalling Crossfire
Installing different game that uses x-trap and transferring the x-trap folder from that game
Deleting x-trap folder
Restarting computer
CCleaner (Cleaned everything)
Launching game when absolutely no other programs were running

I'd really love a fix to this. Friend told me to check this game out, tried to, couldn't. Disappointment ensued.

Have you tried to run CrossFire as Admin?
