FFA Spawn Protection

Ill make it fast, remove spawn protection from FFA like in other versions of the game. It makes it unfun and unfair. Players spawning behind you with godmode and all you can do is jump around like an idiot is stupid. It should be based on skill alone not some in game handicap. Spawning behind someone should be enough of an advantage no need for more.

yes i agree with you because some players spawn right infront of you and you cant kill them so you die and thats not fair

Or the moment they shoot spawn shield is disabled. Something along those lines would be excellent

Well, if you watch it like that.. I get killed in S&D too by rejoiners that spawn right after I checked their base.


Anyways I agree. it's annoying in FFA.

Rejoining is a whole other issue that im not sure will ever be fixed. I find it funny when i kill someone and they rage but it can also be annoying to play against another team with essentially extra lives. Overall i dont think spawn protection should be a thing in any mode except TDM and maybe escape mode.

I think I'm allowed to say this because I don't think it's really considered content (please just edit this if I'm wrong)

But as far as some of the other versions go, the shields protection is immediately removed as a player moves or shoots (meaning had the player remained still, he would have the same three second spawn shield)

Yes omg right, I already make like 1050 kills in 12 min. without the protection I would make 2/3k np lol

This change has been suggested like a million times since early 2010 if not 2009 (2010 is as far i remember)
So far, it has been 6-7 years and nothing was changed
I don't see it changed anytime soon, or maybe never.

I was never active on the forums for the past 6-7 years until recently. Its possible for sure since other versions have similar things. Its just a matter of Z8 doing it for their players. That and changing the ranks back. They are still normal in other versions.

It's not likely they'll change the ranks back, since even after having lots of people wanting it back they refuse to change it. Looks to me like they're pretty keen them? ( or maybe it's just me)
