Is modding your cf sound for example making the fire in the hole sound lower allowed? (is it bannable?)

Any sounds that are hidden within files that you need the use of a 3rd party program to show the sounds and edit them is, it would considered REZ modding and yes it's bannable, if you're just removing or changing any of the files that aren't hidden then you should be fine.

It used to be okay, but not after 2.0. Modding any of the game files has a very high chance of getting you banned.

MODHUB used to be run by ex[MOD]Rory iirc. Hasn't been updated in a while and still you're taking a chance on your acc. Ask a GM via support ticket but I'm sure they'll say its bannable.

I got a 7.2 harman kardon surround system. Tried to run it on my laptop. Didn't worked. So i think 5.1 is the max that cf supports. But not sure.

But go for the 7.1 since you can do other things with it.
