Before this update, the speed with the VIP axe was the same as the speed with the VIP kukri - both have same weight and so they both get same speed. Some complained and said it was slow - if you thought it was slow, then it wasn't fixed.
Basically: After this update - VIP axe will have full damage on body when stabbed anywhere and you will be able to move faster (as fast as someone carrying the kukri vip) but you won't be faster than normal knife.
Also the speed that we have now is the same speed as the China version, so it is not nerfed (it supposed to be that way).

So if VIP Axe and VIP Kukri BEFORE patch was the same ,then with aznbankaii video of NA comparison:
VIP Axe = VIP Kuk (before patch by you)
VIP Melee > normal Axe (you)
VIP Melee = normal knife (you)
VIP Axe = normal Axe (an bankaii video)
Knife > normal Axe (fact)
That's what I'm confused about, you say it's same as vip kuk (which us faster than normal axe, same as knife) but in video VIP Axe was same as normal axe.
If what you say is true then combining video and your statement, VIP kukri = VIP axe = normal axe. -

Ah ok so that means it is getting fixed if it moves faster than normal axe after patch. Sorry if I was confusing you with my wording lol. -
No BS Its faster than a kukri in GM. It's borderline speed hack tbh lol.

When the game is up, that is, if you purchased the axe before the patch. -
What about VIPER ? you should changed it long ago....is a total disappointment....
The kicks don't work in every mode...sometimes if you kick fast it bugs.....throwing knifes also don't work in all modes...
What's the point of having a VIP char if it's abilities do not work ?
I regret it that i bought this VIP, the only good is the +EXP
